When viewers watched her perform at the BET Awards they were sure to be curious about Victoria Monet’s relationship, she certainly was much famous for his music.
He has performed many fantastic, memorable songs. But he’s written for a lot more — for some of the biggest names in the business.

Chloe X Halle’s 2020 hit, “Do It” and Brandy’s “Rather Be” from the same year are Victoria Monet’s writing credits.
So is TI’s “Introduction” from 2012, Coco Jones’ “Déjà Vu” from 2013, Fifth Harmony’s “Reflections” from 2015. (TI was one of the first big name collaborations after his “discovery” on MySpace)
All these songs are chart toppers. And even though the artists behind the famous people, they themselves songwriting originated from Victoria Monet.
Perhaps the biggest name in terms of singers whose songs Victoria Monet wrote is Ariana Grande. They have worked together many times.
His two Grammy nominations came from co-writing “Thank U, Next” and “7 Rings.”
Sometimes, a songwriting duo will churn out multiple hits in a short period of time and then move on. But that was not the case for these two.

Victoria Monet has worked with Ariana Grande from her debut album, all the way to Sweetener.
In 2019, Victoria told The Guardian about how “it’s a slow build” to get to know Ariana as a collaborator.
“It wasn’t like the first time I met him, we were good friends,” Victoria explained. “I think they have enough differences to make the best of each other, but enough similarities to stick together and get along.”
In 2021, Victoria Monet and Ariana Grande collaborated position.
He co-wrote seven songs for the album, including “Motif” – meaning he also wrote for Doja Cat.
While her collaborations are always phenomenal, Victoria really shines in her own light when she performs her own music.
