One Tree Hill alum Shantel VanSanten and Hallmark Victor Webster have completed their divorce, which includes a custody arrangement for pets with late fees.
Per court documents obtained by Us WeeklyVanSanten (who is also known for playing in Boys and FBI) and Webster reached a settlement in mediation and have made plans for their furry friends.
Webster will have custody of the dog, Nova, but VanSanten will be able to visit the dog for extended periods of time. When VanSanten has the dog, he has to share updates on Nova’s whereabouts. If he takes Nova away for more than three weeks, VanSanten will have to pay Webster $10,000 a day to keep the dog from returning.
As for the two cats, Finnegan and Phillippa are in their sister’s custody, Vince.
They also reached a split agreement on financial matters, including the sale of their home in Los Angeles. VanSanten, however, will pay $25,000 to equalize the split. Neither VanSanten nor Webster will receive spousal support.
VanSanten and Webster, who met on the set of a Hallmark Channel movie Love Blossoms in 2017, got engaged in February 2021.
“We hicked 2000ft to the top of the mountain where @iamvictorwebster told me he loved me for the first time last year! What happened next still surprises me… He told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, because he got down on his knees and asked if I would marry him -house!!” he wrote via Instagram at the time. “I didn’t say anything for a moment, not because of the suspense although it would be a good prank, but because my legs stopped, I had to sit down and I couldn’t stop crying and kissing him… I forgot to say . whatever … BUT OF COURSE I MISS YOU!!!”
He continued: “I can’t wait FOR-EV-ER with my best friend!!!! YEN—I LOVE YOU.”
VanSanten and Webster tied the knot in August in the first of three ceremonies. They married a second time in Napa, California, in October, and exchanged vows again in their hometown of Minnesota.
“When my grandfather died on Father’s Day, the heartache was unbearable; I was planning on him walking me down the aisle in Minnesota. In the midst of grief, I looked at Victor and said that I want to do a spontaneous civil ceremony on my grandfather’s wedding day, August 9,” she told Brides.com in July 2022. watching our ceremony from above gave me peace. They were married for 63 years , that’s special, deep love. He’s an example for me about love as a choice and it takes work. It’s not perfect, but his love is always pure.”
In April 2023, us confirmed that Webster filed for divorce from VanSanten. They listed the separation date as January 10, 2023, and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
A few months after the initial filing, VanSanten responded by seeking a “dissolution” of the marriage. They also cited “irreconcilable differences” and agreed on their original separation date, according to documents obtained by us.
