Sell Sunset star Mary Bonnet did not stop when writing her memoirs.
The first book from the Netflix personality, Selling Sunshine: Saving Teen Moms, Developing Luxury Real Estate, and Finally Finding My VoiceOfficially released on Tuesday, September 24. Bonnet wrote candidly about being a teenage mother, detailing the ups and downs of her love life and revealed her past sexual ambush in the memoir.
“I’ve always thought about doing it,” Bonnet, 44, said Us Weekly specifically about why he decided to write the book. “I really think that being open about things and sharing stories about being a teenage mother, I think that there are a lot of single mothers and young mothers who feel hopeless. … There are days when I just cry and (say),’ Why does it have to be so difficult?’ But I will not give up.”
The reality star added: “I want to give people hope and let them know that whatever their situation is – whether it’s domestic violence or sexual assault – there is a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Pregnant at 15 – And Being a Single Mother
Bonnet welcomed a son Austin Babbitt in March 1997, during junior high school. He lived at his parents’ house in Indiana and was “homeschooled for the last three months of his junior year and for the entire senior year,” Bonnet wrote, only going to school for tests.
While she and her ex-boyfriend Mike (all of Bonnet’s ex’s names were changed for the book) stayed together, she eventually “stopped it all.”

Throughout the book, Bonnet writes about the relationships she has experienced over the years. One is a married MLB player “who has signed with the New York Yankees and several other big name teams,” he wrote. Bonnet had predicted that the unnamed athlete would get divorced.

“Although Drew admits, however rarely, that the way he treated me was wrong, I don’t believe he understood why what he did was wrong,” she wrote at one point. “He would always give us an explanation for his behavior, whether he’s had too much to drink or he’s stressed.”
After they moved to London during their marriage, Drew lied to Bonnet and applied for “multiple credit cards” in her name. “He has accumulated so much debt, paying bills like we have cash to burn,” he wrote, noting that he had filed for bankruptcy and left.
The Fertility Struggle
The reality star detailed her fertility struggles Sell Sunset but they started the year before. Bonnet wrote that while married to Drew, she became pregnant with twin girls after a round of IVF.

Sell Sunset producers asked Bonnet to wait a day to take a pregnancy test because they wanted to film to show.
“The next day, bright and early, the crew showed up to give me a test,” he wrote. “With a heartbeat, I entered the bathroom and did what I had to do. Sure enough, after allowing the specified time, the word pregnant appeared, clear as day.
Bonnet eventually lost her pregnancy to a septic miscarriage.
Being Cyberstalked
After her fame, Bonnet recalls being cyberstalked by hackers who “watched me and listened to me for eight months straight,” she wrote.
“Thank God, he didn’t do anything to hurt me, physically or publicly,” Bonnet wrote. “He’s just — with me in an important way. We still don’t know who he is, and we may never know.
