Kate Middleton feels that the media’s scrutiny of cancer is, ultimately, Prince William’s responsibility.
At least, that’s the latest report about the Princess of Wales.
After what the Royal Firm claimed was a routine operation, Kate Middleton’s photoshop fail scandal sparked conspiracy theories. Eventually, he announced his cancer diagnosis.
Even after that, British tabloids continued to search him for details. Kate reportedly blamed her husband for not stopping. And for have potential cause some of it in the first place.
Even before Kate Middleton announced her cancer diagnosis to the world at the start of spring, people were coming to her defense for her absence and photoshop failure.
Admittedly, sometimes the defense misses the mark. When you’re a national mascot that receives millions in public funding for protection and lifestyle every year, people probably have a right to transparency.
However, when Kate announced to the world that doctors had found signs of cancer, many changed their tune. Some apologize for making jokes or even just asking questions. Cancer is no laughing matter.
However, not everyone backs down. Few, if any, double down on the previous question.
Famous pot stirrer Piers Morgan demanded Kate Middleton reveal all the details of her diagnosis.
Although there are several important elements in his argument, he still misses the point. Mainly because he could make the same case about King Charles’ cancer battle, but focus on Kate.
Public scrutiny before Kate Middleton’s announcement, or even her ‘disappearance’
According to an inside source In Touch Weeklystress has taken its toll on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ marriage.
“William has really stepped up since Kate’s cancer diagnosis,” the insider confirmed. “But this does not mean that all problems have been miraculously solved.
There is more to all of this than a cancer diagnosis and related gossip. In early 2024, rumors of Prince William’s relationship with Rose Hanbury resurfaced. Although the Firma had made a clear effort to bury the story, the monarchy could not prevent it.
The source then confirmed that “this year has been particularly trying” for Kate Middleton.
“The first time she ‘disappeared’ – and it was assumed that her marriage was on the rocks because the cheating rumors would never die,” the insider said.
“That was definitely the last thing Kate needed when she was dealing with a devastating diagnosis,” the source admitted.
Could Prince William be doing more to help?
“And,” the insider said, “no one can blame her for being upset with William for not protecting her from scrutiny.” Famously, the royal firm has been influenced by what the tabloids have written in the past. Often, it seems, to Meghan Markle’s detriment.
The source continued: “Or find a way to stop the humiliating rumors that he is unfaithful.”
One could argue reading between the lines and conclude that Kate believed the rumours. But whether or not the press accurately identified William as a fraud, the two are reportedly “very happy” now.
