In an explosive rebuke, former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio blasted former Sen. Jeff Flake (RINO-AZ) for endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election.
Flake, whom Joe Biden appointed as ambassador to Turkey, announced his support for Harris, saying it was in line with his “conservative values” and belief in the rule of law.
However, Arpaio was having none of it and called out Flake’s blatant hypocrisy, reminding the public of Flake’s controversial family history.
Appeared on MSNBC VelshiFlake announced his support for Harris.
“I chose Kamala Harris, not despite being a Republican or a conservative, but because I’m a conservative,” Flake said.
Flake took aim at former President Trump, accusing him of ‘undermining the rule of law’ by trying to contest the results of the 2020 election.
“Conservatives, first and foremost, believe in the rule of law, and have a president, a former president, who lost a free and fair election and then tried to overturn that election. How can conservatives support someone like that?” he asked.
Flake’s praise for Harris and criticism of Trump are not surprising, given his longstanding opposition to the America First movement.
RINO also pointed out that Harris is more aligned with traditional Republican values like free trade, as opposed to Trump’s aggressive tariff policies.

However, it was Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s blistering response that caught the attention of social media users.
Arpaio invoked Flake’s morality by mentioning a dark chapter in the Flake family’s past—the infamous 2014 incident involving Flake’s son, Austin, and his son-in-law, Logan, who were responsible for the deaths of 21 dogs in Gilbert. , Arizona kennel.
“Your son Austin and his wife killed 23 dogs, then sued me and the Sheriff’s Office to prosecute them. You tried to destroy me and my detectives, you don’t believe in the rule of law!” Arpaio wrote.

Flake’s son was charged with 21 felony counts and seven counts of animal cruelty.
Authorities later discovered a discrepancy in Flakes’ story, which indicated that the power to the cooling unit was not cut off due to a chewed electrical cord as claimed.
However, the dogs were suffocated due to negligence, and Flakes, along with the owner of the kennel, were charged with felony charges.
The AP reported:
A grand jury indicted Green Acre Dog Boarding owners Jesse Todd and Malesia Maurine Hughes along with the couple’s daughter Logan Flake and son-in-law Austin Flake, Maricopa County prosecutor Bill Montgomery said.
The Hugheses said the animals died of heat exhaustion June 20 in an 8-by-12-foot room when one dog chewed on an AC power cord after keepers left the facility for the night.
The couple was vacationing in Florida at the time and said the daughter and son-in-law were responsible for watching the dog, authorities said.
The Flakes reportedly tried to save the animals by resuscitating them and applying ice, but authorities say they did not call for emergency help before the dogs died.
Veterinarians who performed necropsies on some of the dogs said they could have suffocated.
County sheriff’s investigators said in July that there was no evidence found that the chewed-up electrical wires had cut power to the cooling unit and forwarded the findings to the Montgomery office.
