Alonso was married to a Spanish singer for six years Raquel del Rosario during the peak of the popularity of the band El Sueño de Morfeo. After splitting in 2011, she has dated everyone from models to TV hosts and journalists. They are even connected Taylor Swift in 2023, after he broke up with Joe Alwyn.
When Swift released her 11th album, The Department of Tortured Poetsin 2024, fans quickly linked Alonso in one of the lyrics. In the song “Imgonnagetyouback,” he sings, “I’m an Aston Martin that you drive straight into the ditch, then run and hide.” Alonso drives for the Aston Martin team.
Alonso quietly addressed the speculation through a TikTok video in April 2024. Aston Martin’s official account posted a video of him scrolling on an iPad while the song played in the background. As the lyrics came up, he put a finger to his mouth.

Alonso and del Rosario’s romance began in 2005, after the driver’s first world championship. She invited El Sueño de Morfeo to perform at a concert to celebrate the title, and they married a year later.
The couple kept their personal lives private but released a joint statement when they split in 2011.
