At least 18 people were killed when a Bombardier CRJ 200 plane crashed and caught fire on its way from the Nepalese capital Kathmandu.

Six people were killed in a helicopter crash in central Nepal. The helicopter, which took off from Solukhunvhu district, hails from Mount Everest and other mountain peaks, with five Mexican nationals and one Nepali pilot on board.
