Who is speaking at the 2020 Republican National Convention?
While some of the scheduled 2024 convention speakers also appeared on 2020 Conventionthere have been some notable absences this year, in particular, former Vice President Mike Pence, who is running against Trump for the 2024 nomination and says he is not endorsing him this year. Nikki Haley, Trump’s other main rival, was not originally scheduled to speak at the convention, a spokeswoman said, but she has also accepted an invitation to speak, two sources familiar with the plans told CBS News. Before the convention, Haley was released some dozen of his delegates won the primaries and were encouraged to vote for Trump, in the interest of party unity.
