Bella Hadid’s cowboy boyfriend, Adan Banuelos, has stolen her heart.
The model and equestrian were first linked romantically when they were seen locking lips while walking in Fort Worth, Texas, in October 2023.
The couple’s daytime makeout session was a hot one as Hadid recently called up Marc Kalman after two years of dating.
Hadid launched her romance with Banuelos on Valentine’s Day 2024 when she posted a throwback photo with the horse rider from their October 2023 birthday party.
Although the duo has been private, Banuelos hinted at their romance when they appeared on the “Along for the Ride” podcast in August 2024, revealing that they were living together in a 5th wheel trailer when they started dating.

He lives in Texas
Banuelos was born and raised in Texas surrounded by “a large Mexican-American family,” according to Cowboys & Indians magazine.
He currently resides in Granbury, Texas, where he trains as a horseman.
In August 2024, Banuelos revealed that Hadid bought her own home in the Lone Star State amid their blossoming romance.
He was a professional cowboy
Banuelos grew up around horses after his father, Ascension, had a career in the industry.
Banuelos previously credited his father, an immigrant from Mexico, for teaching him to love and care for horses at a young age.
It’s unclear when Banuelos began riding professionally, but he was the AQHA Battle in the Saddle Champion in 2012, per Cutting Horse Training Online.
In 2017, he became one of the youngest riders inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame.
He also won the NCHA’s leading opener titles in 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
He was a horse trainer
Banuelos has earned a reputation as a “top horse trainer” for aspiring amateurs and professionals, according to his website.
His ability to “communicate effectively with horse and rider” has led clients to win championships.
“He has a keen eye for detail and is known for his patient and methodical approach to horse training,” the website reads.
He was a millionaire
In December 2023, Banuelos revealed that he “reached $6 million in earnings” at the age of 35 during an interview with Cowboys & Indians magazine.
“I’m thankful for that,” he said.
Banuelos attributes his success to the nerves he had during the competition, explaining that it reminded him of his passion.
“The day someone sees me walking into the herd doesn’t freak out, I want to kick them,” he said. “If you don’t care enough to get your heart rate up, then what do you do?”
Hadid is her No. 1 fan
In the middle of her romance with Banuelos, Hadid decided to retire from modeling to start a new life in Texas with her partner.
“First of all, I don’t put on a fake face. If I’m not comfortable, I don’t go. If I’m not comfortable, I need time for myself,” she told Allure in April 2024.
During an appearance on the “Along for the Ride” podcast, Banuelos explained that the Victoria’s Secret model has become her biggest cheerleader, even waking up at “2:30 in the morning” to bring her and the team breakfast on competition day.
“Being consistent and uplifting and positive and warm to everyone he meets and helps with horses and that’s just freaking amazing,” Gushed.
