The contestants in Claim to Fame they all have one thing – they have relative fame.
To win the $100,000 grand prize, players must figure out who their competitors are related to while maintaining their own celebrity connections. A clue wall, clues given during missions and a wine cellar containing one clue for each player all help the contestants discover the truth about each other’s family trees.
Gathering information is very important Claim to Fame, as a player who finds himself in the bottom two after the mission at risk of being the guesser of the week. The guesser must correctly identify one of the competing relatives, send it to the front in the process. If the guesser is wrong, it is automatically eliminated.
Claim to Fame first aired in 2022, and season 3 begins on July 10. The season 3 winner will follow in the footsteps of the season 1 winner LC Palmerwho Keke Palmer‘s sister, and future 2 victor Gabriel Cannonwho Nick Cannonhis brother.

Bianca Roberts and Robin Roberts
During the season 3 premiere of the ABC reality series, Bianca’s castmates voted for her to be the first guesser. He felt sure that Shane has something to do with it Forest Whitakerbut his guess was not correct, and he was revealed to be the niece of Good morning America‘s Robin Roberts.
After her elimination, Bianca exclusively told Us Weekly that Robin was an early supporter of the reality TV dream.
“Years and years have passed – it shows my age – I want to continue The Real World,” he recalled. “And my aunt actually bought me a Christmas book that was there The Real World apply there.”
Bianca added that her mother told her to “be me and have fun” on the show.
Jill Kurlfink and John Stamos
During episode 2, Jill guessed that wrong Miguel has something to do with it Antonio Banderas after some clever scheming on Miguel’s part. Sensing that he may be the target of the house, Miguel hatches a plan for his allies Dedrick to “catch” him talking to himself about being Banderas. False information quickly spreads through the house, and Jill buys the lie. After guessing wrong, Jill’s celebrity relative is revealed to be Stamos.
Jill exclusively told us that Stamos was “the first person (he) called” after discovering that he was in the running for season 3 of Claim to Fame.
“He was like, ‘That’s great. You’re going to be amazing.’ He immediately became a protective uncle who encouraged me and gave me advice and was there throughout the process,” he said. “I’m so proud of everything he’s done, and he’s been there for me in some of my darkest moments and I just hope he’s proud.”
Gracie Hyland and Jon Cryer
During the second elimination of episode 2, Gracie guessed wrong Adam has something to do with it Dustin Hoffman after receiving false information from Naomi. He was later identified as Jon Cryerhis nephew was previously omitted.
Cryer made a cameo during Gracie’s last episode, taking her up from Claim to Fame house and asked if there was a duck on the wall hint as a nod to him Pretty in Pink character, Duckie. (There are, in fact, ducks on the wall clues.)
“He’s been involved since I was born,” Gracie said us from his uncle. “I don’t live near him anymore, so I don’t get to see him as much as I would like, but he visits often.”
Raphael ‘Miguel’ Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis
During episode 3, Miguel reveals his full name is Raphael Miguel Curtis. He chose to go by his middle name to lead people to think of his relative celebrity Latinx, and it worked. After Miguel wrongly guessed that Dedrick is related to Little RichardJamie Lee was revealed to be an aunt, which no rival saw coming.
After the elimination, Miguel exclusive told us that he was “not necessarily” close to Jamie Lee when he was growing up.
“We’re a family. We love and support each other, but I’m never there (her), like, constantly,” he explained. never too direct or too personal.”
While they could not see each other regularly, Miguel was honest in the show about Jamie Lee helping his family through a difficult period.
“When I was young, my mother went into the hospital (and) had some very difficult times, and my celebrity relatives helped me,” he said during his confessional.
Naomi Burns and Molly Ringwald
Naomi’s elimination during episode 4 marked the first correct guess of the season, although Adam had to write Ringwald’s name on his hand to remember it during the guess-death. Naomi’s ally Hud gives Adam intel after getting paranoid about Naomi having clues for celebrity relatives, even though pulling and keeping each other’s clues is an agreement of the entire alliance.
Naomi, who is Ringwald’s cousin, exclusively told us after his elimination he would not do the show without Ringwald’s approval.
“I respect Molly so much that I never thought of doing this if she didn’t like it. I needed, for me, her approval,” he explained. “He (was) like, ‘As long as you respect my privacy like always, we’re going to be golden. Good luck.'”
