We Can Win 2024: Joe Hoft Warns of the Coming Election Integrity Crisis, Drawing on Global Audit Experience

As the 2024 Election draws near, concerns about the integrity of the election are on the rise. Joe Hoft, a seasoned auditor with extensive experience in global financial audits, has sounded the alarm about what he sees as a critical need for transparency and accountability in the US election process. In a recent discussion with Ben Harnwell, Hoft laid out a strategy to protect the upcoming elections, drawing on his professional background to emphasize the urgency of the situation.
Hoft’s deep concern stems from what he sees as a significant flaw in the 2020 election, which he controversially described as “stealing.”
Describing the process, he said, “The 2020 election should not be certified, it is stolen. We accept fraud and wrongdoing, which we will not tolerate in the corporate world.
With decades of auditing experience, including in countries like China, Hoft brings a unique perspective. “I’ve done audits in places like China, where they gave me everything I asked for. But our elections can’t be certified now because we can’t get all the information we need,” he explained. This clear comparison highlights the lack of transparency and cooperation that Hoft believes caused the US electoral system.
Hoft’s approach to the 2024 election revolves around a meticulous strategy to “validate and reconcile ballots,” ensuring that every vote is valid. From his auditing expertise, he emphasized the need for complete checks and balances as required in the corporate world. “
“When you finish the financial audit, you bring in an external monitor to come in. You give everything that is asked for, without exception,” said Hoft, stressing that the same rigor should be applied to the election process.
To address these issues, Hoft and a coalition of groups, including True the Vote and United Sovereign Americans, are working hard to implement measures that will make the election process more transparent and secure. One of the main focuses is cleaning up voter rolls, a task that Hoft praised the local Patriots for tackling effectively. “Voter deletion is one way to ensure the integrity of the election. People like (Kris Jurski) with People’s Audit have been very important in this effort, forwarding reports that identify inaccuracies in the voter rolls and working with local officials to correct them,” said Hoft.
However, Hoft is quick to acknowledge the scale of the challenge. “We’ve got one hell of a task ahead of us,” he said. He pointed out that of the approximately 500 controls needed to ensure fair elections, only about a third are in place today. This, he said, puts the US at a significant disadvantage in 2024.
Hoft’s solution is straightforward but ambitious: a grassroots effort to monitor and validate every ballot. He cited recent international elections (Venezuela) where opposition groups were able to effectively challenge the results by securing copies of 80 percent of the ballots.
“If they can do it, so can we,” Hoft said. He called for the deployment of hundreds of thousands of observers across the country to ensure that “not a single ballot cast in this election is invalid.”
Despite the daunting task, Hoft remained steadfast. He called for collaboration among all groups dedicated to electoral integrity, stressing that “we can win, but the task is high.”
The message is clear: the stakes are too high to be heeded, and the time to act is now. “We will not allow them to certify another pile of garbage. That is not the American way, and we should not accept it,” said Hoft.
Hoft’s professional insight and unwavering commitment to electoral integrity make it clear that the fight for fair elections is far from over.
