Gateway Pundit and Real America’s Voice attended Maricopa County’s Election Day morning press conference last week, and officials refused to take credit for participating and labeled it “fake news” when they tried to get answers.
Maricopa County Elections Attorney Tom Liddy and Maricopa Communications Director Fields Moseley spoke to us with contempt and laughter in our faces.
When asked about The Gateway Pundit’s reporting on signs of fake ballots in Maricopa County, Liddy immediately called us “fake news.” Read our report here.

Asked about former Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri, who resigned after The Gateway Pundit reported on a damning audio tape in which he admitted to “multifaceted” election fraud in 2020, with “dead people voting” and “vote harvesting” among others, Liddy acted like she never said anything.
Bergquam respectfully asks Liddy to respect our right to attend the press conference like any other journalist. Liddy laughed and refused to acknowledge us as members of the press, instead referring to Bergquam as a “comic”. “Go ahead and show it to your mother,” he said.
That is why no one believes in elections. If you are not an approved member of the media who does not care about the integrity of the election, you are not allowed to question election officials. There still remain questions and concerns about the election as Maricopa County continues to count to give us the results of Kari Lake’s Senate election. No one trusts these people—who are overseeing the counting of votes in 2020 and 2022—to hold a fair election.
Maricopa County Chairman Bill Gates, who oversaw the failure of tabulators targeting Kari Lake voters during the vote in the fraudulent 2022 election, and Democratic Sheriff Russ Skinner, who was appointed to office in February by the “Republican” majority Board of Supervisors, took questions on Friday. Only left-leaning journalists have softball questions about combating so-called misinformation, increasing security to combat suspected threats, and election logistics, but no questions about voting integrity or hard questions.
Gateway Pundit and Real America’s Voice were previously denied press access to Maricopa County’s 2022 election when 60% of vote tabulators failed on election day, causing massive four-hour wait times and disenfranchising thousands of Kari Lake voters. Gateway Pundit filed a lawsuit in federal court alleging discrimination based on the County’s viewpoint and violating the First Amendment and won.
It can be recalled that after the author and correspondent of RAV Ben Berqguam appeared in the District election center, and we were threatened by officers from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department and followed by drones until we went to the vehicle in 2022.
This is a clear attempt to silence this news organization and prevent us from reporting election discrepancies in Maricopa County.
Now, by court order, we have press credentials. However, we were barred from asking questions because Elections Public Information Officer Jennifer Liewer and Communications Director Fields Moseley called on members of the media to ask and review the questions before allowing officials to answer them. They strategically avoided us and only called leftist journalists they knew by their first names.
At the end of the press conference, Liewer ignored us, the only two reporters in front of the crowd, and acted as if he couldn’t see us, announcing, “We have people behind us that we don’t want. We’re behind.” He then took a final question from a friendly invited reporter before ending the press conference early.
When asked why he refused to call us, Fields Moseley said, “I told them we had limited time.” Before this, Moseley told members of the media that he would give us thirty minutes, but he only gave us ten minutes, including four minutes for updates and six minutes for questions.
Also, at the press conference this writer attended on Monday, he refused to take questions from The Gateway Pundit. At one point, he even had to scan the room looking for hands to call and call international journalists from Canada and Estonia instead of taking questions from our publication.
Bergquam addressed a press conference Tuesday about X, saying,
Bergquam: This is what the elites think of you Americans. At the press conference in Maricopa County they refused to call me and @ConradsonJordan of @gatewaypundit and when asked after this was his answer. County Supervisor Bill Gates ran Fields Moseley to us online for answers and Maricopa County attorney Tom Liddy laughed in our faces. This is all while Stephen Richer, the man who runs the Maricopa County elections can’t be found but wants us to believe that @KariLake get a fair election. Absolutely disgusting! The people of Maricopa County and Arizona (ns) deserve better.
Some other questions I’d like to ask if they ever have a real press conference: How many illegals do you allow to choose Adrian Fontes? How many fake ballots are allowed to come in again like in 2020 and 2022? And how much money did the cartel pay to steal the election from Kari Lake?
