The US women’s basketball selection committee released an official statement in June, a few days after the media reported that they had left the most dynamic and popular female athlete in the world today, Caitlin Clark, from the Olympic team.
The league broke the news after Caitlin Clark drained seven 3-point shots, scored 30 points, led in assists, and filled the 20,000-seat arena in Washington, DC, the night before the news broke. Clark put in the clinic.
But this is not enough to anger, this bitter woman to put Clark in the Olympic team where he belongs.
The world is waiting for Caitlin Clark to play in the Paris Olympics, the WNBA brass is giving the USA and the world the middle finger.
Caitlin Clark, who owns all major college scoring records in history and led the NCAA in assists this year, was not selected for the Olympic team.
The five women excluded from the 2024 Olympics are Seimone Augustus, Dawn Staley (centre), Jennifer Rizzotti, Delisha Milton-Jones, Bethany Donaphin and angry Olympic women’s coach Cheryl Reeve.
The WNBA brass obviously hates the fans. He finds Caitlin Clark fans ugly and unacceptable. And he decided to punish all of America for loving Caitlin.
The WNBA has not commented on the decision. The league did nothing to defend the most popular player in its history.
The woman couldn’t publicly admit why she banned Caitlin from the Olympics. First, they emphasize that Caitlin lacks the experience and talent of other women.
Then, the lie quickly became apparent. When the decision is made:
- Caitlin Clark leads the league in 3-point shooting.
- Caitlin Clark is in the top 8 in the league in scoring.
- Caitlin Clark is in the top 3 in the league in assists.
Caitlin Clark’s stats were better than any other woman selected for the team.
Clark is one of only three WNBA players to rank in the top 20 in points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks per game.
Catilin Clark’s stats now put her at the top of every guard selected to the Olympic team.
And, Caitlin Clark is the 4th most popular athlete in the world right now just behind LeBron James, Tiger Woods, and Steph Curry.
Caitlin Clark is currently the fourth most liked active athlete on ESPN

On the first day of women’s basketball at the Olympics, the US women’s team drew the smallest crowd by a wide margin. The US women, led by Caitlin-heart coach Cheryl Reeve, had just 13,500 fans at the game.
The US women’s basketball team drew the smallest crowd among its opening games at the Olympics. Who could see this coming after USA Basketball decided not to bring Caitlin Clark to Paris?

And now the team is struggling to sell tickets for Sunday’s game. Without Caitlin Clark it’s just not easy to fill the seats.
Olympians are hoping to fill their seats with special offers.
The New York Post reported:
The Caitlin Clark-less United States women’s basketball team is having trouble drawing the crowds it hopes for at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The New York Times reported that tickets for the USA vs. Germany game set for August 4 are being sold at a “special offer” for only 24 Euros per ticket with no assigned seating.
This means anyone can grab a front row seat for the game starting at 11:15 am ET.
“Paris 2024 is having trouble selling tickets to the US-Germany women’s basketball game on August 4th. ‘Special Offer’ tickets are now available: only 24 Euros each and seats can be anywhere in the venue. Maybe front row! Will be selling with Caitlin Clark on the team,” writes Times reporter Juliet Macur in X.
Fans were also quick to point out in their post comments that the game was not in Paris but just outside of Lille, France, about a two-hour drive away, possibly contributing to the lack of interest in buying tickets.
However, it’s hard to imagine that this game would have had a hard time drawing a crowd had Clark not been removed from the team.
