The GOP’s election of Senate Majority Leader John Thune is yet another blow to conservatives who demand leadership that reflects the will of the people, not the establishment swamp.
DC Draino said it best.
Crazy how MAGA has won huge victories in all branches of government and the biggest obstacle so far has been the Republican Senators themselves.
These sellouts deserve everything to come

Thune’s victory last week underscores the grip that neocons and RINOs still have on the Republican Party.
With a secret vote tally of 29 for Thune and 24 for John Cornyn, the party has once again sidelined America First votes, including Rick Scott, who was eliminated in the first round after only 13 votes.
This result made conservatives ask: who is the faceless senator who destroyed the movement?
After the vote, Amy Kremer sent this list of Republican Senators who voted for Rick Scott.
- Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
- Ted Cruz (R-TX)
- Bill Hagerty (R-TN)
- Ron Johnson (R-WI)
- Mike Lee (R-UT)
- Cynthia Lummis (R-WY)
- Rand Paul (R-KY)
- Marco Rubio (R-FL)
- Eric Schmitt (R-MO)
- Rick Scott (R-FL)
- Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS)
- Tommy Tuberville (R-AL)
- JD Vance (R-OH)
The rest of the Republican senators either voted for John Cornyn or John Thune, two loyal RINOs who did not care about the will of the voters.
Thune’s record is anti-Trump. Who can forget when he asked Donald Trump to drop out of the 2016 race after the Access Hollywood recording suggested Mike Pence as the Republican nominee? A move that would hand Hillary Clinton a presidency on a silver platter.
And now, Thune — McConnell’s protégé — is the majority leader.
The betrayal didn’t stop there. As many as 30 Republican senators are reportedly planning to vote against Trump’s nomination of Matt Gaetz as Attorney General.
Gaetz, a fearless defender of the Constitution, has been tapped by Trump to clean up the Justice Department and end its weapons against conservatives.
Predictably, the likes of Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins — the left wing of the GOP — have voiced their opposition. Republican Sen. John Cornyn also said he “absolutely” wants to review the House Ethics Committee’s investigation into Matt Gaetz.
But these three are just the tip of the iceberg in a Senate conference full of silent saboteurs.
Additionally, The Hill reports that these 9 senators are most likely to block Trump’s cabinet appointments:
- Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
- Joni Ernst (R-IA)
- Todd Young (R-IN)
- Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
- Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
- Susan Collins (R-ME)
- Thom Tillis (R-NC)
- John Cornyn (R-TX)
- John Curtis (R-UT)
The GOP has purged anti-Trump RINOs before. Look no further than the historic defeat of Liz Cheney, who lost her seat by a humiliating margin. Now is the time to bring that same energy to the Senate.
In 2026, 33 Senate seats are up for grabs, including those held by some of the worst offenders.
Of those seats, 20 are held by Republicans and 13 by Democrats, according to Newsweek.
This is an opportunity to send a clear message: support the MAGA movement or face the wrath of the voters.
Republican senator up for re-election in 2026 not registered in the group of senators who allegedly voted for Rick Scott and who are most likely to block Trump’s cabinet appointments are:
- Dan Sullivan (R-AK)
- Tom Cotton (R-AR)
- Jim Risch (R-ID)
- Joni Ernst (R-IA)
- Roger Marshall (R-KS)
- Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
- Susan Collins (R-ME)
- Steve Daines (R-MT)
- Thom Tillis (R-NC)
- James Lankford (R-OK)
- Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
- Mike Rounds (R-SD)
- John Cornyn (R-TX)
- Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)
It’s time for the swamp creatures and remind them of the Americans.
The MAGA movement is not going anywhere. With Trump’s leadership and grassroots power, it’s time to take over the Republican Party and wipe out the neocons and RINOs once and for all.
The Conservatives must remain vigilant, recognize the weak links in the party, and ensure 2026 is a year of reckoning. America’s future needs nothing.
