VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 13, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) â The FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) kicks off its 2024 season with an adrenaline-fueled Canadian Grand Prix in Vancouver. After nearly 20 years, the sport of Supercross returns to town on October 26, 2024. WSX promises an exciting and unforgettable live sports experience for the whole family.
After the official press conference and demonstration of freestyle motocross (FMX) at BC Place, WSX announced that seven rider teams and two wild cards in each class will tire on the unique track at BC Place for the season opener.

After the 2023 season, WSX continues to expand into new markets with races on three continents. The previous season featured outstanding talent with German motorcycling superstar Ken Roczen claiming his second WSX World Championship title while Britainâs Max Anstie carved his name into the SX2 World Championship crown.
