Boeing machinists approved a new labor agreement on Friday, ending a strike of more than seven weeks that stopped most of the company’s aircraft production.
Machinists voted 59% for the new contract, which includes a 38% wage increase over four years. It was the third vote that started out of the job on September 13 when they strongly rejected the previous proposal promising a 25% raise, far short of the 40% the Union sought.
