As we all know, Kayla is Angel Reese’s latest podcast guest. During the chat, he admitted that the craziest thing he has ever done in a relationship is dressing up as a woman who left him to be with. She said it was one of her “favorite crazy Kayla stories” because she had quite a few. Kayla clarified that she and the man were not dating but were spending time together when he suddenly dumped her for a “singer/actress”.
“So I was dating a guy, and he dumped me via text message. And he dumped me for this singer/actress who was famous at the time. He dumped me for her. Lied about it for months and then went out with her and it became a thing This is common,” Kayla said.
Nicole added that the couple is known for being “another great celebrity relationship,” generally a couple’s goal. He said he was “devastated … heartbroken.” In addition, he said that he recently moved to New York City to be with people and move in with people. That same year, for Halloween, Kayla Nicole said she decided to dress up like another woman. She claimed that she went viral, but the man was not impressed. However, Kayla said she was called a “crazy person.”
Teyana Taylor Appears to Respond to Kayla’s Story
After some digging, social media users discovered that a few years ago, Kayla Nicole did a photo shoot wearing the same outfit as Teyana Taylor in Ye’s ‘Fade’ video. Keep scrolling to see photos of Halloween costumes.
While social media had her and Kayla’s names trending on X (official Twitter), Teyana Taylor took to Instagram Stories with a video post. He showed a clip of Left Eye saying, “And everyone is getting ready to do the math.”
For context, Iman Shumpert and Teyana reportedly started dating in 2013 but didn’t make their relationship Instagram-official until 2014. They also made their red carpet debut as a couple that year at the BET Hip Hop Awards. They got engaged in 2015 and married the following year. However, in January 2023, Teyana Taylor privately filed for divorce. It became public that year, and things turned chaotic between the couple for a few months until the divorce was finalized in June 2024.

In two additional X posts, Kayla clarified that she’s not giving up on her costume idea for now and will continue to tell the truth. “Sometimes I get asked about my personal life and decide to share the lessons I’ve learned. To repeat what I said in the hour long interview – learn from my mistakes. If you watch the whole thing, you’ll know that I don’t agree with the “crazy” decision I made 10 years ago,” he wrote.
“I will continue to talk about my life experiences if I feel ashamed, because this is my story. And if it helps just one woman to avoid the difficult lessons I learned, my troubles will not be in vain,” added Kayla.
