Chelsea Lazkani proud of how he came out on the other side after a challenging season Sell Sunset.
In an exclusive interview for Us WeeklyThe issue of Reality Stars of the Year, Chelsea, 31, described the difficulties she faced when her personal life took center stage in season 8.
“The universe said it wasn’t ready to take me out. That’s all,” she recalled. “Every day there’s still a little bit of fighting, but it’s less fighting than it used to be.”
Chelsea “didn’t think” she would “overcome” the problem when she first appeared on screen, adding, “My mental health is still low. I’m still filming (though). I don’t miss a day of filming. I don’t miss a scene. I don’t miss a listing appointment .I don’t miss anything at work.
The reality star seems emotional about this period of her life.
“Now I’m shaking because it’s still a bit sensitive for me. I was depressed a lot of the time during the filming for months,” said Chelsea us. “I don’t know how I got through. But on the other hand, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I love it here.’ Because I didn’t think I’d be here, to be honest.
Sell Sunsetwhich debuted in 2019, follows an employee at the top Los Angeles real estate brokerage Oppenheim Group. Chelsea joined the cast during season 5 and quickly became a fan favorite for her work ethic, good looks and memorable quips.
Season 8 shifts focus to Chelsea’s personal life. us confirmed in March that Chelsea submitted documents to end the marriage after seven years. The decision to quit was played out on the show after Chelsea was told by her costar Bro Tiesi if the husband is now separated, Jeff Lazkani, unfaithful.
“When the storyline developed, I (had to) say once and for all that, ‘Those who talk about this again will not have access to me again.’ I’ve said it once and nipped at Bud. I know it’s not going to happen, but I think it’s too easy, so I didn’t get a chance to tell everyone,” Chelsea said about her marital problems being the focus of the season. “I don’t care about the nuances. I don’t care about the storyline that’s growing out of the friction between Bri and I. I really just want to focus on home (life).”
He continued: “When I tried to hit that nail on the head a few times, I was able to be stronger to take what I did. So I was like, ‘Hey, I just need love and support. I don’t care about other things. I really don’t I don’t care what else happens. I just need love and support.'”
Despite having thoughts of leaving this season, Chelsea are happy not to.
“We have tens of millions of people watching us. We have little girls who look like me and who are depending on me to get through the hard times. How can I give up? Because if I give up, they will give up and they won’t have a chance, ” he told Us. “They already feel like I’m at the top. So I know that even if I want to give up – and believe me I do – it’s not just about me.
During the season since it aired, Chelsea and Statue of Chrishell public showing support for Emma Hernan after their costar Nicole Young insinuation in the show that Emma has a relationship with a married man. (Emma has since denied the allegations.)
With so many cast members not getting along, Netflix ultimately decided not to go ahead with the reunion special.
“I always like reunions because I always like to clear the air — especially before potentially going to the movies next season. It’s not my call to do that,” Chelsea said. us. “So I don’t know if we’re going to get one or not. I’m just following the schedule.”
Chelsea are now looking at the future with a new perspective. He also did not refuse to return to it Sell Sunset if the show is renewed for season 9.
“As I may not resonate with some women in the office, it will not stop me from doing my job,” he continued. “Do I know what my future is in TV? Absolutely not. But I will make the right decision for my family and my business.
There was one deal breaker for Chelsea – Bre’s friend Amanda Lynn make an appearance after being someone to bring up claims about Jeff to share.
“(My return) wouldn’t be based on anyone else that was on the show. Except for Amanda. If it was Amanda, then I wouldn’t be on the show,” Chelsea said. “If Amanda is on the show, I’ve made it very clear that I will never step in front of that camera again.”
Chelsea is not the only focus Sell Sunset. However, he learns more about himself as he adapts to the next chapter in his life.
“I got married very young. I met my soon-to-be ex-husband at 21. We were together for almost 10 years. Now, I just focus on Chelsea and focus on my business,” he added. “I’m focused on building an empire and focused on growing my real estate brand and love will always find me.”
