Who are the five new Reform MPs elected in the UK? Everything you need to know
Nigel Farage’s British Reform Party made a dramatic statement in the general election, winning more than four million votes and gaining significant support for the Tories.
But despite taking 14 percent of the popular vote, the right-wing party returned with just five seats out of the 650 represented at Westminster. This is because under the First Past the Post system, the party came second in 98 seats, many of which are currently held by Labour.
Pledging to build a “mass movement” that could mount a generational election challenge in 2029, Mr Farage, who is now MP for Clacton, said: “We are coming for Labor – make no doubt about it. “This is just the first step in what will be an astonishing all of you,” he said during his victory speech on Friday morning.
Below we take a look at the five new Reform MPs, who attended Parliament for the first time on Tuesday:

Davey ‘happy for Lib Dem idea to be stolen’ as he welcomes new MPs to Parliament
The Liberal Democrats will continue to argue over the policies in their manifesto, Sir Ed Davey said as he welcomed the party’s 72 MPs to Parliament on Tuesday.
The number is the highest number of Liberal or Lib Dem MPs in more than a century, with the party securing victories in former Conservative strongholds in the South West and South East.
Tuesday is the first time that all 72 have been in Westminster at the same time, as MPs gathered to re-elect Commons Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle and begin the oath of allegiance ahead of the Opening of the State Parliament next week.
