Calling her husband Arvind Kejriwal as “Haryana ka laal” (son of Haryana), Sunita Kejriwal on Saturday (September 7, 2024) urged people to fight against the ruling BJP by voting for AAP in the upcoming Assembly polls.
Claiming that the Delhi Chief Minister was put behind bars in a fake case, the AAP leader said, “Your son is a lion and will not bend before (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi ji.” “I, your son-in-law and your sister, want to ask, will Haryana tolerate this insult? Will you remain silent and not support your son (Delhi CM),” he asked while addressing the meeting.
Sunita Kejriwal also slammed Haryana’s ruling party BJP, saying they only want to “stay in power” and have “no interest” in working for the welfare of the people.
He also said that BJP only knows how to destroy the party and put opposition leaders in jail.
He asked the voters to ensure that not a single vote goes to the BJP, which has been in power for the past 10 years.

Identifying the BJP, the AAP leader asked the people if there has been any improvement in the education and health sectors in the last 10 years. “Has the condition of government schools improved? Is there a hospital in your area that provides good medical care, free medicines,” he asked.
“Do you get free and hourly electricity? There is no such thing,” he said, adding that such facilities are available in Delhi and Punjab where AAP is in power.
Sharpening his attack on the ruling party, he said the BJP only wants to remain in power.
“It only knows how to break the party and put opposition leaders in jail. They (BJP) have no interest in working for the (welfare) of society,” he alleged.
She said that Arvind Kejriwal’s wife is “Haryana ka laal” (son of Haryana), and that she was born in Siwani village and brought up in Hisar.
“No one could have imagined in their dreams that Haryana’s son would become the CM of Delhi,” he said, adding, “This is not an ordinary thing and it is not just a miracle.”
“Arvind ji was born on August 16, 1968. It was ‘Krishna Janmashtami’. I felt that God wanted to do something special through Arvind ji,” he said.
“He started with zero and floated his own party and became the Chief Minister of Delhi in the first election,” he said.
“Kejriwal is doing things that big parties and big leaders can’t do,” he said.
“Because of all this, (PM Narendra) Modi ji is jealous and afraid of your son and your brother (Kejriwal). He (Modi) cannot do such a job,” he said.
“The Prime Minister cannot guarantee good education and medical care. To stop the work of Arvind Kejriwal, he is jailed on a false case,” he said.
The Delhi Chief Minister, who is also the national convenor of AAP, is currently in judicial custody in a case related to the excise policy.
Her husband, during a public meeting, said, “He called Kejriwal a ‘chor’ (thief). I said if he is a ‘chor’ then there is no honest person in the world.” “You must ensure the victory of AAP,” he said, urging people to press the ‘jharoo’ button on October 5. It is not about Kejriwal, it is a question of Haryana’s honor, he further said.
Talking about the party’s “guarantee” for Haryana, Sunita Kejriwal said like Delhi and Punjab, there will be free electricity and round-the-clock power supply in the state.
There will be ‘mohalla clinics’ in towns and villages and the condition of government hospitals and schools will improve, he added.
Free and good education will be provided to the children, he added. Each woman would get ₹1,000 per month, he said, adding that the scheme would be implemented in Delhi and Punjab by the AAP government.
“Employment will be provided to every unemployed youth,” the AAP leader added.
Polling in Haryana will be held on October 5 while counting of votes for the 90-member assembly will be held on October 8.
