One of Combsâ accusers alleges that, along with people two others, raped her twenty years ago, when she was 17. A male music producer has also accused P Diddy of sexually assaulting him and forcing him to sleep with sex workers. P Diddy denied all the allegations and pleaded not guilty in court. The rapper was denied bail because he was considered a serious flight risk.

In 1993, he created his own record label, Bad Boy Entertainment, with talent from Uptown â such as newcomer, now-rap-royalty The Notorious BIG â helping the label out. Twelve years, three Grammys, and two name changes later, âDiddyâ was introduced to up-and-coming singer-songwriter Cassie, when he was 19 and she was 37. Diddy collaborated with Cassie shortly after, in 2006, and they became an official couple dates between 2012 and 2018.
But in a lawsuit filed in November 2023, Cassie â full name Casandra Elizabeth Ventura â details shocking claims about how Combs allegedly treated her during their relationship, and outside of it, citing years of sexual and physical abuse. Cassie, now 37, had a successful solo career in the 2000s, with her debut studio album reaching the top four on the Billboard 200. However, she claims her career was controlled by Combs, who paid for her car. , house, and clothes, and exercise control over them violently.

In response to Venturaâs claim, Combsâ lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, said: âMr. Combs denies these offensive and shocking allegations. Over the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to continuous demands from Ms. Ventura for $30 million, with the threat of writing a book that will destroy about relationship, which was clearly dismissed as blackmail. Despite withdrawing the initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now filed a frivolous and false lawsuit, aimed at damaging Mr. Combsâ reputation and seeking a paycheck.
Shortly after filing the lawsuit, Cassie and Diddyâs legal team reached an âamicableâ settlement out of court. However, Combs is now back in court, having been arrested on criminal charges, and Venturaâs allegations are ringing in peopleâs minds once again.
This is the most important charge of his and Cassieâs lawsuit, and the criminal charges against him.
1. Combs has been accused of physically abusing Cassie several times
In Venturaâs lawsuit, which appeared in the New York Times, she claimed to have suffered multiple experiences of physical abuse at the hands of Sean Combs.
One incident detailed by Ventura claims that when Combs saw Ventura talking to another talent agent, he kicked him repeatedly in the face enough times to draw blood. The suit then alleges that Combs kept Ventura in a hotel room for a week to ârecoverâ. When he asked her to go to the wedding while he was still injured, Combs refused.

2. Cassie claims that he forced her to have sex with a prostitute
After years of being in a relationship with Combs, Venturaâs lawsuit claims he asked her to âparticipate in a fantasy called âvoyeurism'â through coercion. Combs referred to these as âfreak-offsâ, where Ventura would pretend to have sex with various male prostitutes, while Combs watched, masturbated, took pictures, and recorded the sex act.
Although he claimed to have deleted the footage, Ventura said he would keep some of it. The âfreak-offsâ will take place across several locations â from high-end hotels to various Combs houses.
Venturaâs lawsuit explains that he took the drugs he had been prescribed during the âfreak-offsâ because it âallowed him to withdraw during these terrifying encountersâ.
These âfreak-offsâ have been mentioned in criminal cases, too. According to court documents, Combs âused the powerâ of his celebrity status to âseduce his female victims ⊠into prolonged sexual acts.â
âDuring the Freak Offs,â the court documents state, âCombs distributed various controlled substances to the victims, in part to get the victims to comply and comply.â
US Attorney Damian Williams also said officials found firearms, ammunition and more than 1,000 bottles of lubricant during raids on Combsâ homes in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year.

According to the lawsuit, when Ventura was dating Kid Cudi in 2012, Combs got so mad that he mentioned how he wanted to blow up the rapperâs car. âAbout that time,â the lawsuit reads, âthe Cudi boyâs car exploded in the driveway.â
Kid Cudi himself confirmed through his spokesperson, that he had a car that exploded: âItâs all true.â
4. Combs allegedly had access to medical records
One of the most alarming claims from Venturaâs lawsuit is the allegation that Combs had access to private medical records.

5. He was accused of paying the hotel $50,000 to record him assaulting Ventura
During one âfreak-offâ in 2016, Ventura claimed that he tried to escape after he was punched by Combs, giving him a black eye. After Combs fell asleep, she said she tried to leave the room, but he woke up and followed her into the hallway. Once in the hallway, Ventura claimed Combs threw several glass vases at him, âsending broken glass down the corridorâ.
Court filings say the incident was captured on hotel security cameras, but Combs paid the hotel $50,000 for the footage.
The footage was eventually found and appears to corroborate the claims made by Ventura, with Combs caught on camera kicking him in a hotel hallway. âI take responsibility for the actions in the video. I was disgusted when I did it. I am disgusted now,â he said in a video statement posted after the hotel footage was released.

6. She claimed that she was raped in 2018
While each of the allegations in Venturaâs lawsuit is shocking, the most disturbing is the claim that Combs entered the home and raped her in 2018. According to court filings, the incident occurred after the couple met for dinner. , after Combs forced him into Venturaâs apartment and raped her as she ârepeatedly said ânoâ and tried to push him awayâ.
Not long after the couple split, Ventura met her husband, Alex Fine, whom she married in 2019 and now has two children.
7. A male producer has also accused Diddy of sexual assault
Months after Venturaâs suit was settled, another party came forward to accuse Sean Combs of sexual assault: music producer Rodney âLil Rodâ Jones, represented by lawyer Tyrone Blackburn.
Lil Rod claims that Combs is repeatedly subject to incidences of unsolicited groping and sexual touching, and forcing people to have sex with sex workers. The lawsuit alleges one incident in which the producer woke up in bed with a sex worker, believing he had been burned by Combs.
Lil Rod also claimed that he had to work in the bathroom while Combs showered and walked around naked.
Combsâ attorney, Shawn Holley, called the claims âpure fiction.â âWe have indisputable proof that these claims are lies,â he said. âWe will deal with these outlandish allegations in court and take all appropriate action against those who made them.â
Combs also pleaded not guilty to all the criminal charges he faced in court. The case continues.
