Scheana Shay kept quiet about her involvement Valley – but he teased that fans might see more of season 2.
Scheana, 39, confirmed that she’s “very close” with some “Valley people” on the Thursday, Oct. 3, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
When asked directly if fans would “see” her on the Bravo series, Scheana played coy. “You saw me hanging out with him a lot this summer,” she told the host Andy Cohenhinting that the camera may have captured her Hangouts.
Valley premiered in March, starring Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor and his now estranged wife, Brittany Cartwrightalso Christian Doute. The trio all came out VPR in 2020.
The spinoff focuses on Jax, 45, Brittany, 35, and a group of Christian friends living in California’s San Fernando Valley, most of whom are married with children. The OG cast includes Kristen’s current fiance, Luke Broderick, Danny Book and Nia Booko, Jesse Lali and Michelle Lali and Jason Kaperna and Janet Kaperna and Jasmine Goode and Zack Wickham.
During the season 1 premiere, both Scheana and VPR costar Lala Kentrung makes a brief cameo that’s so quick you blinked you missed it. Scheana returned for the second episode where she got candid with Brittany about her marriage to Jax. (Brittany filed for divorce from Jax in August after announcing their split earlier that year.)
once Valley This is renewed for season 2 – and VPR then a hiatus followed Tom Sandovaldeal with Rachel “Raquel” Levissand split from Ariana Madixwhich caused a massive rift between the cast in season 11 – fans began to speculate that there would be more crossover.
Scheana claimed in May that Jax is the real reason she and Lala, 34, aren’t more important Valley. “I also noticed that twice on the podcast he said he didn’t want me or Lala involved Valley because it would be disrespectful to the current players and nobody wants us,” Scheana said during an episode of the “Scheananigans” podcast. “Honestly Jax, I just think you don’t want us. If we did a poll, these are all our friends.
She also said that Jax initially tried to recruit her and her husband Brock Davies to join the cast while he was still in it VPR.
“When all the concepts from Valley has come to fruition, Jax and Brittany were the ones who were like, ‘We want you and Brock in,’” Scheana recalled. “Right now we’re in that little you-blocked-me-on-Instagram stage where you’re like, ‘We don’t want Scheana.'”
In the same month Bravo showrunner Alex Baskin denied that Scheana and Lala would be series regulars for a second season.
“I know there’s been a lot of speculation about (Vanderpump) transfer to Valleybut the cast is pretty complete now,” he said The Hollywood Reporter in May. “I would imagine you’ll continue to see crossovers like you do, but the cast is exploding. It’s not like we need additional cast members.
Scheana and Lala, however, have been spotted hanging out Valley cast throughout the summer when the cameras were rolling. Social media footage shows the pair at a pool party at Brittany’s house with cameras pointing their way.
Some Valley The cast was also spotted at Lala’s baby shower in July, before she welcomed her second daughter, Sosa, in September. Scheana has since shared photos with all the girls in the cast, including a September 15 outing in Hollywood.
