Sarah Palin appeared frustrated at not receiving one of Donald Trump’s coveted cabinet spots after supporting the president-elect during the campaign.
The former Alaska governor, an early and vocal supporter of Trump since at least 2011, made a series of cryptic posts to social media with screengrabs of other users questioning why he wasn’t recruited to the Cabinet.
In one of her Sunday posts announcing the news of Trump’s nomination, Palin posted a screengrab of a text message with someone asking: ‘What about you?’ he replied ‘Thank you.’
In another frame, she posted a selfie looking calm as she wrote the pointed but angry words: ‘Funny how politics works.’
Palin also posted a statement from one of her supporters for him X and Instagram story who labeled him as ‘Trump before Trump’, wondering why he was not given any role.
‘Now, President-elect Trump has appointed secretaries to the VA, Energy, Interior and EPA administrators. One of these positions I hope Sarah Palin will get,’ the user wrote online.

In one of the posts, Palin posted a selfie with the words pointed but irritated: ‘Funny how politics works.’
“It’s shocking that in 2017, and now it looks like 2025, he’s not going to get a seat at the table that he helped set up,” he said.
Indeed, many Republicans believe Palin is already a shoo-in candidate for a key role in the Trump administration.
The lone vice presidential candidate is expected to land a high-profile position, potentially as Secretary of the Interior or another cabinet seat, as he has supported Trump for years.
During his 2016 presidential bid, he appeared at rallies and gave speeches touting Trump’s appeal and conservative credentials. His endorsement is seen as a major boost for Trump in his bid to secure the Republican nomination.
