The Gateway Pundit spoke with Dr. Pete Chambers, former Army Lt. Col. and Green Beret, who first broke the story and has spent years protecting the southern border. On the evening of September 22, he received a report from a confidential informant.
The next day, Chambers said another informant corroborated this report with a close friend of Chambers named Bazzel Baz.
As the founder of the Association for the Recovery of Children (ARC), the former CIA Intelligence Special Operations Group Paramilitary Case Officer primarily fights child sex trafficking on the southern border.
According to Chambers, one informant was outside the United States and the other was inside. Informants have received information that nine surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) have crossed into the United States through a point of entry (POE).
Both Chambers and Baz were told specifically that it was a Misagh-3 missile of Persian origin. However, Chambers said, “regardless of its origin, he said it doesn’t necessarily indicate Iranian involvement until it can be proven.”
In fact, one of the informants asserted, “not him” even though Iran often threatens revenge for the 2020 assassination of IRGC-QF Commander Qasem Soleimani ordered by president Donald Trump.
Regardless of Iran’s potential involvement, Chambers said, “there is credible evidence that there are three teams of non-Persian origin in the United States.” He also revealed that “a second tranche of information identified former president (Donald) Trump’s plane as a target.”
“Shoulder-launched missile systems are usually used for low and slow targets, like airplanes or helicopters taking off or landing,” said the former Green Beret, adding that he could not understand how nine missile systems could cross the border. in POE.
“I know what can be done through POE and what can’t be done,” Chambers said. “Yes, things can get away, but this is not one of those things.”
Chambers argued, “the only way you can get around this is by paying someone else at POE.” Although he “didn’t point the finger at the Border Patrol or anybody,” he said, “it was something like that or there was some diversion.”
He suspects the involvement of the Sinaloa cartel which controls much of the border and “the people on our side.”
Interestingly, Chambers said, “few legislators and the intelligence community are aware of this.” As a result, he said, former president Trump has been briefed on the Iranian threat.
Since this may not happen, he knows two options: “Trump is smart and playing along, knowing that it’s not Iran but trying to paint the bad guy, or he can get lost.”
All of this information, and more, was immediately disseminated to the appropriate authorities. More than anything, Army veterans want to “prevent war” and “know the former president and the United States are safe.”
For this reason, Chambers said he will stay in touch with the Secret Service and other government entities to share new developments.
