TLC has not yet confirmed the 19th season of Sister Wifebut the stars of the beloved franchise have.
The question is, what will it look like no matter what happens?
Between a new marriage, a cancer scare, and the devastating news of the death of one of Kody’s sons, season 19 is shaping up to be an emotional one.
This is what we already know.
‘Sister Wives’ Season 19 Premiere Date LEAKED By Mykelti Brown
Lately, Mykelti Brown and her husband, Tony Padron, have been hanging out in several YouTube videos, most recently telling fans that they moved from Utah to North Carolina.
“My mom, she loved our adventure,” Mykelti said of Christine Brown’s reaction to the decision.
“He supported our choice because we did it for us, as a family, but he was also very sad that we were going to leave him.”
Along with this bombshell drop, a Reddit user quoted Christine’s daughter this week and wrote the following online:
Mykelti said Season 19 will air in late August or early September.
This person then notes that Mykelti has revealed several teases about what viewers can expect from Sister Wives Season 19:
“This season will include a pregnancy with twins, as well as Christine and David dating.”
We cannot verify whether these spoilers are accurate or not.
But here’s the thing: Christine married David Woolley ALL the way back in October.
Heck, the ceremony was even taped for a TLC special.
Has this upcoming episode really been filmed SO long that we’ll be watching it date in Season 19?
“It’s still killing me how long the real time of this event is,” wrote an angry Reddit user when he read the same post and learned this new information.
“We already had Christine’s wedding special, and now she’s going to show her dating her husband if we watch her get married? So dumb.”
David Woolley Joins ‘Sister Wives’ Season 19 In A BIG WAY
Regardless of the timeline, Christine Brown sat down with People Magazine at the beginning of 2024 and explained that David will be in the new season.
O
“People are going to see a lot of both of us,” Brown told the publication in an interview with David, adding: “I’m really glad that everyone gets to see more of David, because he’s a real person.”
As loyal Sister Wife fans know, Christine split from Kody Brown in November 2021, writing on Instagram at the time:
“We will continue to be strong in each other’s lives as we co-parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.”
Christine then met Woolley on a dating website and announced their relationship on Valentine’s Day 2023.
“I finally found the love of my life, David,” she said at the time, very clearly.
David Is Used To The Camera
Fast forward to October 2023, and Christine and David are married, putting their reality tv careers on hold.
First, he sat down next to Brown for a discussion Sister Wife a one-on-one special that aired in December; then got a lot of screen time when TLC followed the couple for a special, Sister Wives: Christine and David’s Wedding.
But with Season 19, he will be a legitimate cast member.
“She threw me to the wolves,” joked Woolley to People, who said he “never wanted to be on camera” before he met and fell in love with Christine.
However, he accepted and embraced the new aspect of his life.
“Listen, I tried, but then I talked about him and then I felt bad,” Brown jumped in with peopleexplains how he has done everything he can to take the lead in the air.
“During the one-on-one interview with (host) Suki (Krishnan), she was like, ‘How did you propose?’ And I was like, ‘Let me tell you.’ And I just took it all.”
Meri Brown Returns to ‘My Little Sister’s Wife’ Despite Breaking Up With Her Family
In the past few years, it became clear that Meri had a quarrel with her plural family.
After leaving Kody, his relationship with his other wife began to deteriorate. For one, he wasn’t at Christine’s party. For another, he sits at the Garrison memorial, separated from Janelle and the kids (more on that in a moment.)
However, whatever dramas happen with other women, Meri is still a part of the TV family. He confirmed it Miss Understood Podcast with Rachel Uchitel that she will return for season 19.
“I’m around,” he insisted, though he didn’t give details about filming the show. He simply added, “I’m very excited. I’m not going anywhere. “
How will ‘Sister Wives’ Season 19 deal with Garrison Brown’s Death?
When the family sounded prepared to kick off another season, it took one to wreak havoc on March 5. That’s when it was announced that Janelle and Kody’s son Garrison died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
This news saddened the whole world, because the young man was 25 years old and he had just started rebuilding in Arizona. Garrison is known to have fallen out with his famous father, but is still incredibly close to his mother.
Unless the show is canceled, it’s likely that the fallout the family faces after the death will be played out in the show’s next season.
In fact, reports from Sun indicating that the show was indeed in production at the time of his death.
“Sadly, the unexpected death came during filming,” a family source shared with the outlet.
Garrison’s relationship with Kody’s father was the focus of the family last season and the source said TLC wants to “continue the storyline and fans will be looking forward to finding out what happened to him.”
“I can’t imagine that this will not be filmed,” he said, adding, “I don’t know how far and how deep the family is.”
Is ‘Sister Wives’ Season 19 Canceled for 2024?
Because of everything we’ve heard, it’s possible that the show is canceled. Of course, the family will want to share their next steps after the tragedy with their fans.
But who will be the star of the show?
It will include Christine and David; Janelle Brown who is now single; Meri Brown and maybe her new ex-girlfriend; then Kody and Robyn Brown, who remain legally married.
“I didn’t prepare him for anything,” Christine said people about David participating in the event.
“Like, what is this. This is what we are talking about the breed. We will meet and have a People Magazine interview…
“But he’s just genuine and real and I think that shines through. I think he’s really good because he’s just being himself.
