Phillip Schofield and family were seen mocking former co-star and best friend Holly Willoughby’s famous ‘are you ok?’ clip as he returns to TV.
The presenter, 62, will appear in Cast Away Channel 5, set to air on Friday, which thanks Ant McPartlin, 48, and Dec Donnelly, 49, also Joanna Lumley78, – but failed to mention Holly, 43.
During the show, he will discuss his bitter break-up with ITV and This Morning, where he hosted for 21 years, as he seeks to establish himself in a remote island paradise off the coast of Madagascar.
Phillip was kicked off This Morning in May last year, after he admitted lying about his relationship with a younger male friend.
Holly is estranged from her former best friend and when she returned to the This Morning sofa in June 2023, she told viewers she had been left ‘shaken, disappointed and worried.’

The presenter, 62, will appear on Channel 5’s Cast Away, set to air on Monday, where he thanked some of his stars – but failed to mention Holly, 43 (pictured in June 2023)
When he came back, he started saying: ‘Hello, first of all, how are you? I hope so. It feels so strange sitting here without Phil.’
Appearing to reference his now famous speech in Cast Away, Phillip was seen having a BBQ with his family before leaving for the island.
In a clip obtained by The Sun, he feeds his wife Stephanie and daughters Molly, 31, and Ruby, 28, and laughs: ‘If you’re okay, then we’re okay, and I’m okay. ..are you okay?’
No mention of Holly in the clip.
Holly said in her original statement: ‘It feels really strange sitting here without Phil and I imagine that he might have felt a lot like me.
‘Terrified, worried, disappointed, worried for people’s well-being in everything about what happened and full of questions’.
“All of us at This Morning offer our love and support to the man who didn’t tell the truth, who acted in a way that made him feel he should resign from ITV and resign from a career he loves. It’s a lot to process.”
“It’s hard to see the toll it takes on your own mental health. I think what drives us all today is our desire to heal the health and well-being of everyone.’

He added: “I hope that as we begin this new chapter and return to the warmth and magic that the show has been for all of us, we can find strength in each other.
‘And from the bottom of my heart, I can only say thank you for all the kind messages and thank you for coming this morning. Me, Josie, Dermot, Alison, Craig and everyone who works on this show will continue to work hard every day.’
Phillip didn’t mention his former co-star Holly in new TV show Cast Away – but did take a few swipes at his former colleagues.
Despite mentioning ITV stars Ant and Dec as well as Joanna Lumley, 78, Holly was not mentioned in the entire 45-minute episode.
In one outburst that will leave viewers wondering what his intentions are for him, Schofield said: ‘If you’re going to throw someone under the bus, you’ve got to have a very good reason to do it.
‘I got into television because I liked the nuts and bolts of television, I didn’t want to be famous. I don’t bother about that.
‘I miss a part of it. I miss the most, I’ll be honest. But there are bits that I really, really, really don’t miss.

The disgraced presenter revealed this week that he took part in his own survival show just 16 months after leaving This Morning after admitting to having an ‘unwise but not illegal’ fling with a junior male colleague.
Schofield, 62, said he had turned down a selection of big money TV offers before choosing to sign for Cast Away – which he believed would allow him to share his story in an ‘unedited and honest’ way.
Ms Willoughby left This Morning on October 23 after presenting the show alongside Schofield for 14 years.
Sources at the time said she quit because the show “wasn’t the same” after her co-host left, but ended up being “dumbed down” by allegations of a ‘kidnapping and murder plot’, an insider said.
Meanwhile, during the episode Schofield called ITV duo Ant and Dec the ‘best couple ever’.
In May it was suggested that Declan Donnelly had reportedly tried to convince the former presenter to make a TV comeback, after the couple had dinner for four hours together.
Joanna Lumley also appeared, sending a ‘good luck’ message.

Ms Lumley, 78, appeared on the same program in 1994. ‘Listen, Phil, these are the tips I got,’ she said.
‘Keep your knife sharp, spend most of the day trying to find wood, otherwise you won’t be able to eat anything.
“When I was on the island, I made a pair of shoes from a bra, and I like to think that you can do something a little more challenging, and bring it back for us all to see.
‘I will think of you all the time Phil, and actually I’m a little bit jealous, lots of love.’
