“October” Nadya Suleman has become a grandmother.
Suleman, 49, who has given birth to 14 children including a set of octuplets in January 2009, marked the new chapter via social media on Sunday, September 22.
Taking to Instagram to share the happy news, the California native, who welcomed the first living octuplets in history, posted a photo of her baby grandson’s tiny feet peeking out from behind a pink blanket.
“Thank you my wonderful daughter and son-in-law for this wonderful gift! We are so proud to have her as a new addition to our family!” Suleman captioned the sweet post, “Baby, we love you so much and we can’t wait for you to grow up!! 8/30/24 🙏🏽❤️.”
Suleman’s Instagram post shows that the child was born almost a month ago, on August 30.
Fans of Suleman, who made headlines in 2009 for giving birth to an octuplet before embarking on an adult film career and starring in porn movies. Octomom Home Alonethey are quick to share their joy.
“You’re Grammy! Congratulations,” one person commented on the post while another wrote, “Welcome to the club!! Welcome.”
Before giving birth to octuplets, named Nariyah, Yesaya, Maliyah, Yeremia, Nuh, Josiah, Yunus and Makai, Suleman was the mother of six children: Amerah, Calyssa, Elia, Yunus, Yosua and Aidan.
While it is unclear who Suleman’s children are now parents to, Suleman took to Instagram on August 21 to reveal how much his children have grown since he became famous. The post celebrates the 21st birthday of their third child, Joshua.
In an Instagram comment from Suleman’s July 13 post that took his mother celebrating her birthday with all her children, Suleman also said that his eldest son, Elia, is 23 years old, while his second eldest son, Amerah, is now 22 years old. old
The octuplets, conceived through in vitro fertilization, are now 15 years old.
Suleman’s comments on July 13 via Instagram also indicate that the family has been on good terms over the years. “We are all a very close family, and we are always there for each other … even though the oldest children have their own lives, as they should,” wrote Suleman.
In August 2019, Suleman opened up about his son Aidan’s special needs, revealing that he is autistic.
“This is my little boy Aidan,” Suleman said in an Instagram video on August 20 of that year. “He is 14 years old, with one in his head. Aidan is very autistic and (needs) total care. He needs full assistance to meet all his needs in daily life activities. Aidan is non-verbal, needs feeding, changing (not potty trained), bathing, and one-on-one supervision, because he has no safety awareness and will walk aimlessly into traffic. I, his mother, am always the caregiver. This ‘job’ is my life (in addition to caring for 13 other children). My children are my LIFE.”
