Aaron Taylor-Johnson looks the furthest thing from being the next James Bond while filming his explosive new movie in Kent.
The Bullet Train actor, 34, was pictured in full army gear alongside The Gentlemen star Theo James while filming scenes for his upcoming film Fuze.
Directed by David Mackenzie, the heist thriller ‘opens as the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb at a London construction site prompts a mass evacuation as the perfect cover for a heist,’ according to the synopsis.
New photos show Aaron’s character on set as he carries a large gun as the filmmakers perform a gruesome action sequence with bullets flying and cars being thrown through the air.
In the simulated warzone, on the outskirts of Wrotham, Aaron can be seen pointing a large gun while looking through the scope in full military uniform.
Another snap shows him putting his hand on Theo’s shoulder, who is covered in dirt with his hands tied behind his back.
In another scene, Aaron can be seen cutting Theo’s character after being bundled out of a white pickup truck.
One onlooker described the noise the startup made as ‘amazing and frightening’ in the normally peaceful village.
Fuze, who doesn’t have a release date yet, will be hitting the big screen this year in Marvel’s Kraven the Hunter.
The film, which will be released on December 13 and stars Russell Crowe and Ariana DeBose, tells the story of the titular hero and his relationship with his father that leads him ‘down the path of revenge’, according to the synopsis.
Aaron will also star alongside Bill Skarsgard, Willem Dafoe, Emma Corrin, Lily-Rose Depp, and Nicholas Hoult in Robert Eggers’ remake of Nosferatu, which will be released on January 5, 2025.
The star has been tipped to play James Bond in the upcoming film as Daniel Craig stepped down from the coveted role – rumors that Aaron has not confirmed or denied.
Elsewhere, attention has been placed on Aaron’s personal life as he was spotted without his wedding ring leading to split speculation.
The Fall Guy actor began dating filmmaker husband Sam Taylor-Johnson, 57, in 2009 – when Aaron was 18 and the Back to Black director was 42 – after meeting on the set of the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy.
After getting engaged the same year, the couple finally tied the knot in 2012. They have two children together (Wylda Rae, 14, and Romy Hero, 12) and even celebrated their marriage by renewing their vows on their 10th anniversary two years ago.
Their relationship, however, has not been controversial with fans raising concerns about the wide age gap and Aaron’s age at first.
The actor was in West London enjoying a solo dinner dressed in a gray hoodie and black pants, and seemed engrossed in a phone conversation when passer-bys noted the lack of a wedding ring.
