Major League Baseball: Mets at Marlins
The lowly Marlins have taken two of the first three games from the not-so-lowly Mets in this series, but there is a starter who, Yonny Chirinos, has yet to find a win in five starts this season.
He also allowed eight or more hits in three of his five starts and gave up seven earned runs over 5 2/3 innings in his last outing in Cincinnati.
Mets starter David Peterson, meanwhile, is looking to continue his undefeated season after returning to winning ways against the Nationals in his most recent start, going six scoreless innings to end a three-game no-decision skid.
I just can’t see the Mets going down easy in this one with the threat of a brutal series loss hanging over their heads.

NBA Heat League: Memphis Grizzlies vs. Miami Heat
Last week I was riding the Heat to an easy win, but this week I’m rolling with Memphis in a battle of the only two undefeated teams in the league as the two highest scoring teams meet in the championship game.
Memphis leads the summer league in assists per game as well as steals per game and will be limited by Jaime Jaquez, who is averaging 26 points.
Grizzlies’ Scotty Pippen Jr. went for a triple-double in Sunday’s semifinal win over the Clippers, and the son of the former Bulls star will definitely try to light the Vegas court up again on Saturday.
I expect this game to be close, but I like Memphis to cover with superior guard play.
