At the same time, the Biden Administration could lose an important US air base paid for by US taxpayers in Niger, a former US ally negotiating a refined uranium deal with the Iranian regime.
Niger strengthened its alliance with Iran with a secret yellow-cake uranium deal in April.
This was around the same time Niger authorities decided to force US military personnel out of the country. The US invested more than $100 million in just one air base in the country!
It cannot be explained adequately how dangerous the anti-American regime of Joe Biden is to global stability.
We are Gateway Pundit friends Banafsheh Zand reported in Iran International:
Recent reports indicate that after secret negotiations, Iran and Niger have agreed a $56 million deal to see Tehran acquire 300 tons of refined uranium.
It was first reported by a French-based media outlet African intelligence at the end of April, it was revealed that the military junta of Niger has participated in “secret negotiations” with Iran for the delivery of 300 tons of yellowcake in exchange for drones and surface-to-air missiles.
Yellow cake is a concentrated form of uranium oxide, appearing as a yellow powder. It is produced from uranium ore and is an intermediate step in making nuclear fuel or weapons.
French newspaper Le Monde has since corroborated clandestine discussions – and reports that a certain type of uranium is produced in a mine belonging to a French company.
Uranium, Le Monde reported, is Niger’s most important export product and comes from mines that have been exploited since 1971 by French group Orano in Arlit, located in north-central Niger.
Niger’s Junta government has rejected secret talks and agreements.
According to Afrika Intelligence, as part of the agreement, Tehran will supply a large capacity generator to Niamey to overcome Niger’s energy deficit and support agricultural conversion efforts. The initiative was launched by the new government, which became a coup on July 26, 2023.

As previously reported…
The US officially began withdrawing troops from Niger on Friday.
This comes after the Biden administration agreed in May to remove the remaining US troops from Niger in September. About 1,000 troops will leave two US military bases in the country to the new regime.
Russian forces are already in the country and actually share the same base as US forces.
This is one of Joe Biden’s biggest foreign policy failures among many and is certainly being ignored by the US fake news media conglomerate.
The BBC reports on a new deal in Niger. It appears the Biden regime is paying the regime to save face by being forced out of the country. You can bet that money is exchanged for this communication.
The US and Niger have agreed that American forces will leave the country “no later than September 15”, they announced in a joint statement on Sunday.
He said the two countries had “reached a disengagement agreement to carry out the withdrawal of US forces, which has already begun”.
…
The military junta that seized power last year has ordered the withdrawal of French troops as they approach Russia.
The statement praised the “combined sacrifice of Nigerien and US forces in the fight against terrorism”, adding that the withdrawal would not affect the continuation of US-Nigerian relations.
“The United States and Niger are committed to diplomatic dialogue to determine the future of bilateral relations,” it’s reading.
It’s a complete lie. The US was forced out. Russia already has US bases.
*********
Gateway Pundit has been aware of this American insult since April. If you missed the previous report, here’s a summary.
Molly Phee, Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, is doing work in Niger. Now U.S. troops are being ordered to leave countries vital to U.S. national defense.
Nigerien Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine recently spoke to journalists and blamed US State Department official Molly Phee for threatening the current leader while negotiating the US military presence in the country.
Nigerian leaders blame Phee for the breakdown of relations. Zeine described the reaction to Molly Phee when she came to lecture Nigeria’s leaders in March, “You came here to threaten us in our country. That is unacceptable. And you came here to tell anyone who might have a relationship, that is also unacceptable. And you have done it all with a condescending tone and lack of respect.
In April we learned about Joe Biden’s latest foreign policy disaster in Niger, Africa. US troops were trapped in the country due to lack of water and medicine at the time. The army is likely hiding this to protect itself from embarrassment. The Americans in charge are in limbo and unable to do their jobs and the Biden State Department has done it again.
Thanks to the good negotiation skills of the diplomats appointed by Biden, the US military will leave Niger and leave the $100 million air base to the current anti-American government.
US insists it will withdraw from Niger.

On top of that the news broke last week Russian troops has now entered the US airbase in the country’s capital, Niamey.
The Russians will live together with the remaining Americans at US Airbase 101.
This is another insult to US forces by Joe Biden.
We now know that it was US diplomats working for Joe Biden who destroyed this important relationship with Niger.
Through the Stars and Stripes.
Key military ties between the United States and its closest West African ally, the country of Niger, broke down this spring after a visiting US official made threats during final negotiations over whether American troops based there would be allowed to remain, according to the country’s prime minister.
In an exclusive interview, Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine blamed the United States, accusing American officials of trying to dictate which countries could be Niger’s partners and failing to justify the presence of US forces, which is now scheduled to end next month. Niger has been at the center of efforts to contain the growing Islamist insurgency in West Africa.
The rift between the former allies created an opportunity for Russia, which has been quick to deepen ties with Niger, sending troops to the capital, Niamey, last month to train the Nigerien military and provide it with a new air defense system. Russian and US forces now occupy both ends of the air base.
After a military coup ousted Niger’s democratically elected president last year, the United States froze security support as required by US law and paused counterterrorism activities, which involved gathering intelligence on regional militant activity from a large drone base in the north of the country. The United States has kept more than 1,000 military personnel in place as it negotiates with Niger over status and asks the junta to begin restoring democracy…
Stars and Stripes then reveals the genius in the Biden State Department that destroyed US relations with Niger and how he did it.
He said Nigerien leaders were concerned about the remarks of Molly Phee, the State Department’s top official for African affairs, who said she asked the government during a March visit to Niamey not to engage with Iran and Russia in ways that did not sit well with Washington. Niger wants to continue its security relationship with the United States. He also said Phee further threatened sanctions if Niger pursues a deal to sell uranium to Iran.
“When he finished, I said, ‘Madam, I will summarize in two points what you said,'” said Zeine, who has led negotiations with the United States. “First of all, you came here to threaten us in our country. That is unacceptable. And you came here to advise anyone who might have a relationship, which is also unacceptable. And you have done everything in a tone that contempt and disrespect.

Which brings us to today.
Here is the BS nonsensical Ministry of Defense Africom released there.
The US Department of Defense and the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Niger announced that the withdrawal of US forces and assets from Niger has progressed from initial preparations to redeployment. This important transition begins with the departure of the US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III from the 101st Air Base in Niamey on June 7, 2024.
This flight is an example of the productive cooperation between the US and Nigerien armed forces through the Joint Disengagement Commission, which is tasked with overseeing and coordinating the orderly and safe withdrawal of US forces from Niger.
Through the cooperative and transparent efforts of the Joint Disengagement Commission, a small contingent of US personnel has arrived in Niger to provide logistical support, ensuring the withdrawal of the remaining forces and assets from the 101st and 201st Air Bases. At the same time, some US forces have been sent back to Niger to the home station when the mission contribution is complete.
US and Nigerian officials are dedicated to completing a safe, orderly, and responsible withdrawal by September 15, 2024. They emphasize their commitment to the protection and security of American forces during this process.
The US Department of Defense and the Nigerien Ministry of National Defense recognize the mutual sacrifices made by the forces of both countries in the fight against terrorism. They commended each other’s efforts to strengthen the Nigerian Armed Forces and expressed their mutual commitment to continue cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
This withdrawal of US forces will have no impact on the ongoing development relationship between the United States and Niger. Both countries remain committed to sustained diplomatic dialogue to shape the future of bilateral relations.
