The transfer deadline is just a day away as Premier League clubs scramble to complete last-minute business before the end of the window.
Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho is wanted by Juventus, who will sign the winger on loan with an option to buy, but the former England international is still holding off on an offer from Chelsea. The Blues could be the busiest club ahead of the deadline as they look to make moves for Raheem Sterling and Ben Chilwell, while adding more players.
Chelsea are still keen to sign Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, but Ivan Toney has also been linked and the Stamford Bridge club have made a fresh move for the Brentford forward. Elsewhere, Liverpool are set to complete the signing of Federico Chiesa from Juventus, which could seal the Italian club’s move for Sancho, while Manchester United will finally complete a move for PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte.

Jadon Sancho ‘waiting for Chelsea’ amid Juventus bid
Jadon Sancho is ready to wait for an offer from Chelsea despite Juventus being the favorites to sign the winger from Manchester United, according to reports Guardian.
Chelsea are holding talks with United over a potential swap deal between Sancho and Raheem Sterling, but Juventus are interested in the 24-year-old as they prepare to sell Federico Chiesa to Liverpool.
Sancho is not in Erik ten Hag’s plans for this season and the Italian club have been linked with a loan offer with an option to buy, but the player would prefer a move to Chelsea before the deadline.

Southampton manager Russell Martin says it would be an “exciting” signing – and will leave Arsenal looking for a goalkeeper before deadline day.

Newcastle face a new chapter in the Marc Guehi transfer saga with rival content to look forward to
Newcastle United’s proposed move for Marc Guehi has stalled, with Crystal Palace refusing to budge from a fee of at least £70m.
Although there is hope that the deal can be completed, progress has been extremely slow in the last week of the window so far, and it is expected to go to the wire.
Palace are pushing ahead with £15m Maxence Lacroix from Wolfsburg, partly because Guehi’s two-year contract is up and he will lose his influence. Personal terms have still not been agreed with Lacroix.

Man United continue to rebuild with the sale of Hannibal Mejbri
Manchester United have sold midfielder Hannibal Mejbri to Burnley for £5.4m.
The fee could rise to £9.4m including add-ons as United have a hefty sell-on clause, initially set at 50 per cent, and a buy-back clause if they want to bring the Tunisian international back to Old Trafford.
Mejbri’s departure will help fund United’s signing of Manuel Ugarte after agreeing a £42.3m fee with Paris Saint-Germain, which could rise to £50.7m.

Ivan Toney most recently as Thomas Frank refused to discuss the move
Thomas Frank refused to talk about Ivan Toney after Brentford progressed in the Carabao Cup with a 1-0 win at Colchester.
Toney is no longer in the Brentford squad as Frank said: “Same as yesterday. I’m not talking about Ivan.
“I want to talk about the 21 lads in the dressing room who did a fantastic job of going through to the next round of the Carabao Cup against a Colchester team who deserve credit and made it difficult for us.”

Manchester United are set to complete a £50m move for PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte
Manchester United are closing in on their main midfielder target this summer after agreeing a £50.7m deal with Paris Saint-Germain for Manuel Ugarte.
The FA Cup winners will pay an initial €50 million for the 23-year-old, with an additional €10 million added, and he will undergo a medical.
Ugarte’s arrival will spend around £200m in the summer after buying centre-backs Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt, Noussair Mazraoui and striker Joshua Zirkzee.
The signing of Ugarte means United will strengthen every outfield department in their side. He believes the former Sporting Lisbon player, who was named in the team of the tournament at the Copa America, is one of the best young midfielders in the game.

Manchester United made a decision after talks with Chelsea over the transfer of Ben Chilwell
Manchester United have not acted on Ben Chilwell’s availability, although Chelsea have raised the prospect of a deal in ongoing discussions between the two clubs.
Executives from the two have discussed whether they can resolve some squad issues in a mutually beneficial deal, particularly the futures of Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho and Chilwell.
The left-back has been proposed by Chelsea due to United’s struggles in that area with Luke Shaw’s injury record, but the Old Trafford hierarchy are determined to make their own choice. It is understood that the figures involved in any deal, as one of the factors, are different.

Liverpool are negotiating a bargain price for Federico Chiesa
Liverpool have agreed a £10m fee with Juventus for Federico Chiesa.
The Italian winger will have a medical on Merseyside after the two clubs struck a deal, which could add an additional £2.5 million.
Chiesa, who has entered the final year of his contract at Juventus, is out of favor under new manager Thiago Motta, who has not selected him for the first two games of the season.
And Liverpool will take advantage and sign a discount price after Juventus cost €50 million from Fiorentina, the 26-year-old.
