Obviously, this is a very difficult time for the children of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Not only is Kate fighting cancer, but her grandfather, King Charles, is also fighting the disease.
Kate was able to join Trooping the Color last weekend, but the road ahead is long and difficult.
At ten and eight years old, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are old enough to understand the seriousness of the situation.
At five years old, Prince Louis probably felt more confused than his siblings.
So, Will and Kate are navigating some very tricky waters right now.
They are trying to make sure that Kate receives the best possible care and also ease the worries of the three children and millions of happy people.
Now, as the summer holidays approach (many children in England have classes until the end of July), Will and Kate will be presented with a new challenge.
But one insider said the couple is very up to the task.
Kate Middleton’s Kids Hold Up Well, Insider Claims
“Kate wants to keep her holiday as normal as possible,” a source said Life & Styleadding that it is normal until now that children can “manage their anxiety”.
The source said the children have been “coping well,” and Kate hopes to continue that trend over the summer.
Most of the vacation will be spent at Anmer Hall, where the children will enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and making cupcakes.
“It’s going to be all about being outside in nature and letting kids be kids,” said another. Life & Style.
“Kate feels terrible that her children have been worrying about her so much, so, even more, she wants to make sure this is a summer to remember,” the source added.
“He promised to have no time to sleep and plenty of food!”
Will and Kate Prepare for ‘Chaotic’ Summer
“Without George, Charlotte and Louis in the classroom, things will be even more chaotic for Kate,” the source said.
“But he’s rested and prepared.”
The chaos will be compounded by the fact that Will is planning a solo trip to Germany. But insiders focus on the positive and take the trip as a good sign.
She noted that Will “wouldn’t leave the kids at home if Kate was really sick.”
So while Kate may spend the rest of the year in “recovery mode,” it seems there’s reason for optimism!
