Kate Middleton is reportedly turning to religion amid her health problems.
As you know, Kate has been battling cancer for the past several months.
The Princess of Wales completed chemotherapy in September. But her husband, Prince William, has warned that she “still has a long way to go.”
Kate Middleton’s New Interest in Religion
As a member of the British royal family, Kate is an important figure in the Church of England.
But according to one expert, until now, they have not invested in religious affairs.
Robert Hardman is a royal journalist and biographer of King Charles. In the latest edition of her latest book, she claims that Kate found her faith because of her battle with cancer.
“The princess became more interested in questions of faith because of her situation,” Hardman wrote in the book (via InStyle).
“‘I’d say there’s more hope,'” Kate told Hardman.
Prince William Remains Unmoved
The author explains that the situation shows “a more subtle indication of the outlook and style of the generation of the King and his older sons.”
Another source told Hardman that William was a “modern young man” who was “shy about certain aspects of ceremony and religion.”
According to Hardman, William enjoyed performing ceremonial duties in the Church. But he remained unmoved by it
“The Prince’s position, say those in the know, is that, when the time comes, he will fulfill all his constitutional obligations to the Church of England,” the author wrote.
“However, he will not suddenly become a regular worshiper or create passion for something that he does not feel, but a gloomy situation.”
A Civil Disagreement
It’s worth noting that at no point in the book does Hardman claim that the situation put a strain on Will and Kate’s marriage.
However, she gave the impression that William was supportive of Kate’s newfound spirituality, even if he chose not to follow her down the path.
At a time like this, it’s important to remember that Will and Kate have been married since 2011. They will definitely grow in separate directions in the long timeline.
What’s Next For Kate
Kate has resumed most of her royal duties in the weeks since completing chemo.
However, her doctor reportedly warned her to limit stress and not overdo it. As a result, Kate chose not to join Prince William on his trip to South Africa for the Earthshot Prize Awards this week.
Obviously, Kate’s fans are very happy with her decision to return to public life. But we believe he also supports his decision gradually.
