A Maricopa County judge has ordered an evidentiary hearing in a lawsuit against the Arizona Secretary of State to seize public records related to 218,000 potentially illegal voters.
“The Secretary’s office is understood to be busy during this election season. like this Court. But the Court also noted that the Plaintiff’s action sought the disclosure of a list of nearly 220,000 Arizona voters who had been identified by the Secretary in a press release as voters who were registered to vote without providing the necessary proof of citizenship documents, which is an important issue throughout the country. and the public interest,” read a message from Judge Scott Blaney.
The hearing is scheduled for October 28.
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier this month, America First Legal filed this lawsuit on behalf of the Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona against the Secretary of State for illegally withholding a list of 218,000 voters who were recently found to have no documentary proof of citizenship on file.
JUST IN: America First Legal Sues Arizona Secretary of State For Unlawfully Withholding Public Records About 218,000 Voters Without Proof of Citizenship – As Gateway Pundit Reports
The Gateway Pundit has reported on this issue. What the state initially estimated was 98,000 approved voters without proof of citizenship on file, a few weeks ago it was found to be more than double that number. About 218,000 voters across the country were registered without proof of citizenship because of a supposed glitch in the system that officials claim only affected voters who received Arizona driver’s licenses before 1996. The Democratic Secretary of State further claims that the affected voters are mostly Republicans.
Despite knowing about the issue for more than a week, the Arizona Secretary of State did not notify the public until Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer announced the lawsuit filed on September 17, less than two months before the election. The idea of a lawsuit was made by Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, Governor Katie Hobbs, and Attorney General Kris Mayes during a phone conversation on September 10 where officials conspired to cover up the issue and minimize blowback from the public. RINO Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer’s lawsuit is a plot orchestrated by Democratic officials who are worried they will be blamed for removing voters, who they claim are mostly Republicans, from the rolls or downvoting their votes in federal races. As The Gateway Pundit reported, in this call, officials also admitted that the so-called glitch-which has existed for at least 20 years-validates “the theory about illegal voting in our elections” and makes every election since 2004 “challenging.”
While officials claim the registered voters are “mostly Republican,” the Secretary of State’s Office has not yet sent the list of affected voters to County election officials or the Arizona GOP. No one knows who these voters really are or if they are legal citizens!
Richer filed the lawsuit Sept. 17, asking the Court to define those voters as “federal-only” voters and eliminate their ability to vote in full with state and local races and election measures. According to state law, “federal only” voters cannot vote in local elections because they do not provide documentary proof of citizenship. However, the Arizona Supreme Court quickly ruled that voters could fully vote in this election. While this would appear to be a win for Republicans if the voters on the rolls are, in fact, legitimate Republican voters, many worry that the whole thing could be a ruse to allow illegals to vote in our elections.
Suspicion only grew as the Secretary of State refused to provide information about the affected voters.
The Gateway Pundit has learned through an emergency motion Thursday from the office of the Secretary of State that intends to call “political violence experts” to the witness stand to make a case that there are “privacy and safety concerns” by providing voter lists to County election officials and the Arizona Strong Community Foundation, as well known as “EZAZ.” Plaintiff Merissa Hamilton, founder of the Arizona Strong Communities Foundation, responded to our report on the Secretary’s move, commenting, “Fontes is wasting your tax dollars on political stunts” on X:
Dear citizens,
I don’t know if the Recorder using your data is so rough. After all, they already have all your personal data including your Social Security number. It’s not like someone is abusing their position to target citizens such as… https://t.co/Szfia2HIAQ

“This trial concerns Fontes’ refusal to release a list of 218k AZ voters without recorded proof of citizenship to the Recorder, Legislature, or General. They claim technical problems caused the system to not mark voters as they needed proof of citizenship,” said Hamilton in a post X that announced a new order in the case.
“But, why all the secrecy? What is Fontes hiding that he won’t release other government officials in charge of voter registration or the supervision of our elections?” Hamilton asked.
