‘The care and compassion for mother and her is extraordinary; from antenatal classes, outstanding midwives, consultants, doctors, nurses and ongoing care in the community. We also love their baked potatoes. Birmingham is very lucky to have him and I will be grateful for everything he has done.
“I love being a dad, but I feel like this now means I can’t get off the King Rob and Josh podcast. We won’t be taking any press requests about it because we’ve already sold the rights to the first family image to Autotrader.’
The adorable picture sees Joe wrapped in a black coat around his tot, who is wearing a blue knitted hat, as he takes a stroll outside.
The star looked tenderly at the boy as he carefully held his chest.
Fans were quick to send their congratulations to the comic, although many suspected it could all be an elaborate prank – which the star is famous for.
Comments included: ‘I don’t know if this is satire but I’m here.’
‘I congratulate you but I also think this is you and could easily be a puppy/cat/gearbox in that hat.’
‘Good morning!! (unless it’s an elaborate prank in this case, congratulations!)’
‘I didn’t know what was real and what wasn’t when Lycett was involved.’

She said: ‘So I have a cat Winston, and my friend Denise. And, um, she’s not called Denise, but I’m not talking about her, because she has a project that I can’t see.
‘I call Denise because she hates the name Denise, so, uh, I live with Denise.’
Joe, who spoke openly about his sexuality last month, then went on to talk to former Ru Paul’s Drag Race star about pansexuality.
He shared: ‘Well, it’s very interesting now to be in a long-term relationship with a woman because a lot of people are like that, sorry? There was a short period when I was at school when I thought because I’m attracted to men, I’m gay, and then I was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, keep going.’
‘Then I use the term bisexual when someone asks and I just want to give a quick answer because people understand.

‘But I think the most accurate way to describe me is pansexual, because I’m not attracted to people, just because of their gender.’
Joe went on to say that he sometimes struggles to explain his sexuality, adding: ‘I don’t know how it works either because, I don’t know, how does it work? As in, I don’t know how it works in terms of like, explain to idiots. Because it is difficult to sort of move, well, no, I am attracted to people sometimes, but not all people. And it is not often to do with the fact that they are male.
‘Often like a good body, you know? Small abs. Yes, that’s it. Lines. The body is dangerous. Beautiful arm.
Joe, who used to be very open about his sexuality, then spoke to former Drag Race star Ru Paul about being pansexual.
‘Yeah, it doesn’t matter what gender or anything. And I don’t know why, but that’s how it is. It’s strange because for me that shows that sexuality is not only male, female.
‘So the intellectual side of me is pansexual, that means everything. So, I feel that way.’
