Jennifer Lopez is getting into the holiday spirit despite her impending divorce from Ben Affleck.
The “Let’s Get Loud” singer, 55, told People how she plans to spend Christmas following the breakup of her two-year marriage to the “Argo” actor, 52.
“It’s been a pretty intense year for me and I’m most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family out on the East Coast,” he said in an interview published Tuesday.
“Piran is a special time for us and always has been since I was little,” Lopez said. “And I’m really looking forward to when I can be with my sister and relax and have fun and make new memories.”
The superstar’s family includes mother Guadalupe Rodriguez, sisters Lynda and Leslie Lopez, and 16-year-old twins Max and Emme, who are already with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Lopez, who spent the last two holiday seasons married to Affleck, said she sees this year’s festivities as an opportunity to “slow down” and “have fun” with her loved ones.
“We don’t get to see each other every year,” she noted, “so we know what everyone is doing and how they live. It’s just a beautiful time. I’m very happy.”
Lopez gushed more about the holidays, “I love all the decorations and the hot chocolate and the music and the food, and I’m one of those people who really tries to make a storybook for my kids with everything. everything. I’m really into the holidays.”
The “Unstoppable” star also looks forward to the new year and says that 2025, for him, “is about a deeper relationship with me and God, make sure we check ourselves so that we can be good for all the people we love. around us.

Lopez filed to dissolve the union with Affleck in Los Angeles County Superior Court on August 20, the two-year anniversary of the couple’s second wedding ceremony. They listed the date of separation as April 26.
The “Shotgun Wedding” star is reportedly still living in her and Affleck’s $68 million Beverly Hills mansion that hit the market in July, but has yet to sell.
Meanwhile, Affleck bought a $20.5 million Los Angeles mansion over the summer.
