Brother 26 took an interesting turn during the Wednesday, August 7, episode and viewers now have the opportunity to vote for this week’s replacement nomination.
The drama begins when Tucker Des Lauriers win the power of veto competition and come up with a plan for the backdoor Quinn Martin (or as close as you can get to the backdoor in the future where the extra BB AI arena competition makes them virtually impossible). Instead of using the veto to save himself, Tucker, 30, took it Angela Murray off the block instead, shocking fellow houseguests.
Although Tucker and Head of Household Cedric Hodges discuss the possibility of Tucker saving Angela, 50, and face the death of Quinn, 25, and the third nominee, Kenny Kelley, in the BB AI arena, Cedric, 21, finally decided it was too risky and that they did not have the votes to send Quinn home. Cedric warns Tucker to use the veto for himself, but Tucker refuses, and in the end Cedric votes. Mackenzie Manbeck as the replacement nominee instead of Quinn.
“This veto meeting is adjourned,” Tucker said after Cedric announced his decision.
“Actually, no,” Makensy, 22, replied, before activating the American Veto upgrade he received during the game’s first week. Makensy then gets off the block, and this time, nominating a replacement won’t be Cedric’s decision.
However, America will vote to determine who will compete directly against Tucker and Kenney, 52, in the BB AI arena on Thursday, August 8. The winner will be safe, while the two remaining nominees will be at risk of eviction during Thursday’s live vote. .
To vote for America’s Veto nominees, visit CBS.com/BBvote and select one of our eligible guests. A possible candidate is Quinn, Brooklyn Rivera, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Rubina Bernabe and T’kor Clottey. Votes will be accepted until 12 pm ET on Thursday.
Voting is open to all US citizens who are at least 18 years old. A maximum of 10 votes can be made from one email address.
As with double-life expulsions, America’s Veto nominees won’t have much time to campaign for a vote. The nominees who received the most votes from the viewers will learn their fate on Thursday shortly before competing in the BB AI arena. If they can not pull out the victory, will be nominated American Veto against either Tucker or Kenney for elimination.
No matter what happens with America’s Veto vote, this week’s chaotic veto meeting has rocked the house. Tucker claims that Cedric didn’t tell him not to use the veto on himself, which Cedric denies, and vows to target Cedric going forward. The entire house now also knows about Quinn’s secret HOH Deepfake powers, which allows her to control the nominations for a week. That means anyone who doesn’t align with Quinn has a strong incentive to vote for him if he’s on the block on Thursday.
Big Brother airs Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on CBS and Paramount + at 8 pm ET.
