With so much at stake, especially since everyone is forced to choose a side, either aligned with the Green Council or the Black Council, as the houses fight over who should rule after the death of King Viserys (Paddy Considine), this is what happened in “The Black Queen .”
After Princess Rhaenys (Eve Best) took to the dragon and interrupted the coronation of Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney) in end of episode 9it’s only a matter of time before Princess Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) finds out about Queen Alicent (Olivia Cooke) decision to renege on a long-standing promise to make Viserys’ daughter queen after his death. And it’s safe to say, she or her husband, the Daemon Prince (Matt Smith), they are happy with what is happening in King’s Landing.
Not long after arriving at Dragonstone, Rhaenys delivered the news, telling Rhaenyra, “Green is coming for you.”
However, before the battle lines are drawn, Rhaenyra has to deal with problems at home, Lucerys (Elliot Grihault) complaining about being put on the throne in Driftmark through the Corlys’ brother Vaemond (Wil Johnson), and her own pregnancy coming to an end. earlier than expected.
In another a gruesome and bloody birth scene for the series, Rhaenyra gave birth to her own baby, pulling a dead baby. While mourning the death of his youngest child, one of Arryk Cargyll’s twins arrives with a crown and pledges his allegiance to him in what is a makeshift coronation.

He also revealed that the marriage he believed was right for Rhaenyra might be more than he expected.

Rhaenyra considered the term – channeling her own father’s desire for holiness in the realm above all – much to the astonishment of Daemon, who revealed his unscrupulous character in moments of anger.
Meanwhile, it is revealed that Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint) is still alive, despite rumors that he was wounded and died at sea. For Rhaenys, this was a long time ago, with Best told ET that the reunion with him and his safety is of the utmost importance to him.
While everyone waits to see where he will lead the navy, Corlys and Rhaenys debate which side they should take. Despite losing everything to Rhaenyra, she eventually pledged House Velaryon and her navy to the “Black Queen.” In doing so, the Corlys also asserted that they had full control over the Stepstones and the Narrow Sea, the waterways vital to the life of King’s Landing.
Before the action, it was decided that Lucerys and Jacaerys (Harry Collett) would secure the loyalty of the Starks, Baratheons and Arryns by riding dragons to Winterfell, Storm’s End and the Eyrie.
During Lucerys visit with Borros Baratheon (Roger Evans), it is revealed that Aemond (Ewan Mitchell) has arrived with news that his brother now sits on the Iron Throne — as well as an offer to merge his house with the Hightowers. and the Targaryens.
