Supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to Fox News Digital on Friday, outside the Desert Diamond arena in Glendale, Arizona where she and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, later took the stage.
Fox News Digital asked the audience to determine Harris’s border policy and whether they also support it. These discussions often lead to various follow-ups.
“I like everything,” the woman said of Harris’ policy.
“Because he stands for, me, the average person in America. I don’t think he is extreme in any aspect.”
Asked about the border, the woman said that Harris will deal with America’s border crisis because he will take responsibility:
“He’s the vice president, remember, not the president,” he said.
“So the policies we’re going to implement, I think, are going to make a difference at the border. And we still have Mark Kelly,” he said, referring to the retired astronaut-turned-Democratic senator who joined his wife, Gabby Giffords, on stage. later in the evening.
The woman added she believes Harris will “bridge the gap” between Democrats and Republicans’ disagreements over border policy.
He cited a bill authored by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, I-Ariz., and James Lankford, R-Okla., as an example of something that Harris supports but cannot see.
“There’s a bill that’s been put forward, not signed because Trump doesn’t want to sign it,” he said. “Nothing is perfect, but we will only be willing to work, to find a way for people to pass in a way that does not disturb us in America, but also helps those in need.”

A trio of women attending the rally from near Phoenix took the time to give a take on Harris’s border policy as well.
“I think that his policy is in line with Biden’s policy on the topic, and I think that approach is very healthy,” one woman said.
“I think there have been a lot of laws to regulate the border policy … and the people who are in asylum,” added the second woman.
“This is what the current administration is doing – they are following the law,” he said, adding that the key is to ensure that asylum seekers have a valid asylum claim.
A woman walking toward the east entrance of Desert Diamond said she was “not sure about the border” when asked about Harris’ attitude.
“I support,” she said. “I’m not extreme where Trump (is) out of control – I’m extreme where we need border control.”
When asked if Harris would do the controls, the woman replied, “For now, I hope — hope and pray, yes.”
Lance, a veteran from Goodyear, Ariz., who wears a “Veterans For Harris; I’m Not a Loser” shirt, said Republicans are focused too much on the border, but Biden and Harris are also working on the crisis.

He said he was more disappointed by Trump’s behavior in office than on any other front, saying the GOP candidate promised to complete an infrastructure plan but never did.
“I always believe in women’s right to vote, and equality for everyone, including LGBTQ people,” he added “These veterans are married to other people, and I want that right not only to continue in the future, but to be there for the younger generation .”
“Is it health care, taxing billions and corporations instead of just giving tax cuts – and claiming foreigners for the average citizen, like Trump, (Harris and Walz) is really for the average person. economic policy will be better than the policy that comes out from the White House (Trump).
“(Trump’s) health care policy is going to be like ‘nobody’s ever seen it’ and he’s right because nobody’s ever seen it.”

“I will be 71 years old in a month, and in my entire life I feel that this is the most dangerous and treacherous time in the United States.”
