Ric Lansing on the case with a little help from Elizabeth Webber. So, Portia (or someone else) will probably lose their job because of this action. Red flags can point to the wrong person after Dr. Terry Randolph made a scandalous rehire at GH.
General Hospital Spoilers: Portia Robinson Looks Total
General Hospital spoilers recall that during Drew Quartermaine’s campaign event, Curtis Ashford overheard his wife Portia (Brook Kerr) on the phone. He calls the lab to check Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) blood test.
When Curtis asks about it, Portia tells him Heather is out of Pentonville and at GH for a blood draw. It’s for the lawsuit that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is handling. We saw Portia upset on GH when she found out Heather got a new shark on her side.
Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) replaces Scotty as Heather’s lawyer, and he’s ruthless. Portia insists she draw Heather’s blood. Then, when he was back at the nurse’s station, he saw the vial of blood.
I suspected then that Portia tampered with the test, but now I wonder if it was a red herring at the General Hospital. The recap for the week saw Ric tell Heather the bad news. His case is dead in the water – civil and criminal appeals.
GH Spoilers: Wonky Test Results Heather Webber Intrigue Ric
GH spoilers for last week confirmed Ric told Heather blood work showed her cobalt levels had not changed after surgery. They need to see lower levels of cobalt to proceed. He said his hip implants did not cause him to kill them. It’s just that he’s so bad.
But he’s listening carefully to General Hospital because Heather Webber insists that’s not true. He felt very different now. He regrets it and cannot understand why he committed the Hook murder. Heather seemed very sincere.
The tipping point for Ric was when Heather offered her heartfelt condolences for the loss of her first grandchild. Missing babies Molly Lansing (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) are family to her.
Heather was probably one of the few people who had sympathized with her over the loss of her grandson. That prompts him to dig deeper and return to General Hospital to talk to Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
Ric showed him two sets of test results for Heather. One of the GH labs showed that Heather’s cobalt levels had not changed. The other, from an independent laboratory, showed very different results. Liz immediately noticed something wasn’t right, confirming Ric’s suspicions.
General Hospital: Portia Looks Terrible – But Is Brad Cooper to Blame?
General Hospital shows the chain of events. Portia draws blood and the lab runs the test. An independent lab obtained a blood sample from Heather in Pentonville. Or Portia takes one sample and someone from an independent lab takes another.
This is a drastically different result from the two laboratories tripped up the plan. But what is Portia Robinson’s plan? Or is there someone else? Or is there a conspiracy to keep Heather Webber on GH?
A month ago, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) returned to GH, asking his co-chief of staff Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) for the lab tech job back. They rehashed his bad behavior, and Terry said he would think about it.
Then, in this week’s General Hospital spoiler promo for Monday the 23rd, there’s a scene where Portia confronts Terry about rehiring Brad. So, that’s interesting because it probably means that Portia Robinson isn’t a test rigger.
It could be Brad. And they will have good reason to do so. Heather Webber kills her friend Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). He was one of the last victims of the Hook Killer. There was no way Brad wanted Heather released. He might even get a job to prevent it.
Now, Portia Robinson looks guilty since she did the draw. And she is the mother of one of Heather’s victims – Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). That fact alone means that Portia should never have been one with Heather.
Portia fears Heather is still a danger to Trina and will break out of prison to come after her again. In the end, Ric has to do what’s best for his client. It was to expose that someone at GH compromised its integrity and destroyed it. But is this Brad or Portia Robinson?
