Megan Thee Stallion Gets Honest About Interview With Gayle King
According to The Cut, the two-hour documentary titled ‘Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words’ was released via Amazon Prime on Thursday, October 31. According to the outlet, the special is meant to “show Megan Pete behind Megan Thee Stallion.”
Furthermore, the documentary reportedly follows Meg’s rise in the music industry following the death of her mother and the aftermath of the July 2020 shooting involving Tory Lanez, which left her injured.

According to the outlet, Meg called 2020 the “worst year” of her life. Also, at some point in the documentary, she reflects on the shooting incident while sitting down with King in 2022. Per REVOLT, Meg told King that she never had “sexual intercourse” with Lanez before the incident. However, during the documentary, the rapper admitted he cheated on King.

More Details on Megan Thee Stallion’s 2022 Sitdown With Gayle King
As REVOLT previously reported, in 2022, King generally questions Meg about the events of July 2020 during a sit-down. During the sitdown, King reportedly asked Meg if there was an argument between her, Kelsey Nicole, and Tory Lanez when they left a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in her car.
“It’s an argument because I’m ready, and everyone else isn’t ready. But, like normal friends,” Meg told King. “Like, we fussed over silly things. But I never held anybody’s hand. I never raised my voice too loud. Like, this was one of those times where, like, it shouldn’t be this crazy.
At that point, Meg explained that the argument escalated, and she heard a man yell, “Dance, b***h!”
“He was standin’ up through the window shooting. And I didn’t even want to move. I didn’t want to move too fast. Like, because I was like, ‘Oh my God. If I make a wrong move, I don’t know if he’s going to shoot something really important. I didn’t know he could shoot me and kill me,’” the rapper reportedly told King when recounting the incident.
As previously reported by The Shade Room, Lanze’s attempted shooting was later revealed by both Meg and Nicole who had allegedly been intimate with Lanez, sparking the heated incident.
