In recent days, calls for an investigation into ABC’s moderation of last week’s presidential debate have reached a fever pitch, with many questioning the show’s apparent bias.
Moderators repeatedly fact-check Donald Trump while allowing Kamala Harris to peddle unchecked lies and propaganda.
Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) announced Friday that a Senate investigation into the ABC News campaign and Kamala Harris is underway. Marshall suspects collusion between ABC and the Harris team, citing Kamala’s unusually prepared response as evidence that she knew the question ahead of time.
Former Clinton adviser Mark Penn also joined the fray, calling for a third-party investigation into internal communications at ABC News.
“There should be an independent review of all internal texts and emails to find out if there was a plan to fact-check one candidate, effectively rigging the debate,” Penn said during an appearance on the show. John Solomon Report podcast.
It has also been revealed that Kamala Harris has a close relationship with ABC’s lead moderator, Linsey Davis. Both are members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and with the rise of Harris as the Democratic nominee, AKA recently formed a PAC to support them.
None of these relationships were disclosed to the public before the debate, raising serious questions about conflicts of interest.
According to a post-debate interview, Linsey Davis admitted she worked with co-moderator David Muir just to check on Trump during the show.
On September 12, 2024, the Twitter-X account “Black Insurrectionist” dropped a bombshell tweet claiming to have access to a signed affidavit from an ABC whistleblower. The tweet read:
“I’m going to release the affidavit from the ABC whistleblower about the debate. I just signed a non-disclosure agreement with the whistleblower’s lawyer. The affidavit states how the Harris campaign was given a sample of questions that were essentially the same questions they asked during the debate and a separate assurance about fact-checking Donald Trump and he will NOT fact checked. Accordingly, the affidavit alleges several other factors built into the debate to give a significant advantage to Kamala. I have seen and read the affidavit and after the black attorney comes out with the name of the whistleblower and other information that can dox the whistleblower, I will release the full affidavit. I will release the affidavit before the weekend is out.
On Sunday, the alleged affidavit was released, and was not withheld. In part, the affidavit states:
“Observations on the Fairness of the Debate: I have noted specific incidents related to the debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris that raise concerns about procedural justice: In specific examples of perceived bias as follows:
- The Harris campaign accepted certain accommodations, including, but not limited to, providing a smaller podium than that used by Donald Trump, and assurances of a split-screen television display that would affect Kamala Harris’ appearance relative to Donald Trump.
- It was agreed that Donald Trump would be fact-checked during the debate, while Kamala Harris would not face the same scrutiny. It’s common knowledge throughout the company that Donald Trump is going to be reality checked. In fact, various people were tasked with reviewing observations that they thought candidate Trump would make during the debate. In fact, the Harris campaign needed assurances that Donald Trump would be fact-checked. This was done through multiple communications with the Harris campaign, while the Trump campaign was not included in the negotiations. To my understanding, any negotiation and discussion of the rules related to the debate should involve the Trump campaign and Harris, the Harris campaign had many calls about the rules of the debate without the knowledge of the Trump campaign or on the phone.
- The Harris campaign was presented with sample questions that, while not exact questions, covered similar topics that would appear during the debate.

The affidavit, signed and notarized on September 9, 2024, includes a certified letter allegedly sent to Speaker Mike Johnson and a recording of the conversation that supports the whistleblower’s claims. The whistleblower also sent a Federal Express package containing an affidavit.
This is two days after the ABC News presidential debate, where the hosts repeatedly faked “fact-checking” President Trump and allowed any nonsense that came out of Kamala Harris’s mouth to go unpunished.
