Kamala Harris says she will take cognitive tests; challenge Trump âto take the sameâ

Trumpâs rally at Madison Square Garden featured rude and violent comments
Thousands of people from around the New York area and other parts of the country descended on Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday afternoon for a rally of former President Donald Trumpâs campaign.
Trump vowed to win New York, saying it would be an âhonorâ to win his home state. But his remarks were overshadowed by his earlier violent and offensive speeches, which included racist jokes about Puerto Ricans and blacks as well as prominent Democrats.
In the lead-up to Trump, the comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, played by Kill Tony, called Puerto Rico a âfloating island of garbage,â made crude jokes about Hispanics and birth control, concluded that Jews are cheap and Palestinians â. rock-throwersâ and made racist comments about black people in the audience eating watermelon.
The comments were widely condemned, with the Trump campaign saying the joke about Puerto Rico âdoes not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign.â Republican Rep. A Puerto Rico comment from a speaker at a Trump rally drew criticism while Harrisâ plan for the island gained Bad Bunnyâs support
With more than a week until Election Day, Puerto Rico has been in the spotlight by both campaigns. Vice President Harris announced plans to help the island â leading to the endorsement of Bad Bunny â when Puerto Rico was called a âfloating island of garbageâ by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who spoke at a rally for former President Donald Trump in New York City.
In an effort to court Puerto Rican voters on the US mainland, Harris on Sunday posted a video on his social media platform promising to create a Puerto Rico task force to create jobs, cut red tape to ensure disaster recovery funds are used quickly and efficiently and work together with leaders across the island to ensure Puerto Ricans have access to reliable and affordable electricity.
Musician and reggaeton singer Bad Bunny, a global superstar from Puerto Rico, shared a video of the vice president on his Instagram account with 45 million followers and then sent a clipped part of the video in which Harris slammed Trump for his response to Hurricane Maria, which devastated the island in 2017.
