Sky Sports have announced the Sky Bet EFL schedule which will be shown live Sky Sports and Sky Sports+ in August and September, with each EFL club featuring at least three.
For the period until the end of September, every EFL team will have their opening weekend match, Carabao Cup match and at least one regular weekend match televised live on Sky Sports.
Included in the selection of two Lancashire derbies in the Championship, with Blackburn travel to Burnley Friday 31 August – kick-off 12.30pm – with Rovers then to go Preston Saturday 22 September – kick-off 12pm.
On Saturday August 17, Sky Sports will show the Championship clash between the champions of League One last season Portsmouth and Luton at Fratton Park – kick-off 12.30pm.
In League One, Birmingham host Wrexham in front of him Sky Sports camera Friday 16 September – kick-off 8pm.
and Bromley’s The first home game in the EFL is set for live coverage against AFC Wimbledon in League Two on Saturday 17 August – kick-off 12.30pm.
The EFL season kicks off with four matches on Friday 9 August and every match on the opening weekend of the Championship, League One and League Two will be shown. live on Sky Sports +the first landmark in broadcasting history.
Before the start of the new EFL season, all TV options will be confirmed for the period up to the third round of the FA Cup in early January 2025.
It is a landmark commitment, providing fans and clubs with up to five months’ notice, an increase from the five weeks’ notice given in the majority of seasons past.
During the season, more than 1,000 EFL games will be broadcast Sky Sports+ with each team featuring more than 20 times, at no additional cost to Sky Sports subscription.

How many of my team’s matches will be shown on Sky?
Every single one League one and League two teams will be shown live on Sky at least 20 times next season.
And every one of the 24 championship the club will live on Sky at least 24 multiple.
Where am I going to watch my team?
The match will be broadcast live Sky Sports channel is there or in a new brand Sky Sports+ (more below!)
This will effectively replace the EFL’s domestic streaming options provided via iFollow and club streaming services.

Customers with a full Sky Sports subscription do not need to do anything.
Once live, Sky Sports+ will only replace the existing Sky experience, bypassing Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Sky Q, and NOW.
The revamped Sky Sports app will also be the main home of sports streaming on mobile devices with Sky Sports+ streams accessible directly from the app.

I’m not a Sky subscriber, how can I watch my team?
For instant, contract-free access to all Sky Sports channels, non-Sky customers can buy a Sports Day or Monthly Membership NOW.
From August, this will also include every live Sky Sports+ stream and on-demand content.
What games will be live on Sky?
Each full weekend of the EFL schedule will see 10 live matches shown – including three Championship, two League One and two League Two matches all broadcast live at 12.30pm on Saturdays.
All opening weekend, final day and midweek matches in the EFL will be shown live, as well as all games played on Bank Holidays including Easter, Boxing Day and New Year.
Matches played in League One and League Two during the international break will also be available live.
For the first time, fans will also be able to watch every match from the Carabao Cup and the Bristol Street Motors Cup.
Will the device continue to work if broadcast?
While some matches will be rescheduled for broadcast purposes, the majority of matches will not be moved.
How long before I will know about equipment changes?
All live matches selected for broadcast up to the FA Cup third Round in January 2025 will be communicated before the start of the season.
Greater parity in the number of times clubs are selected for TV coverage is also guaranteed.
