The 2024 presidential election ended on Wednesday, November 6, when Donald Trump secured the presidency after winning key battleground states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, according to Fox News. After speculation that the vote count could be overstated, some networks called the race for Trump. In his victory speech in Florida, Trump promised to usher in what he called “America’s golden age.”
“Every citizen, I will fight for you, for your family and your future. Every day, I will fight for you. And with every breath in my body, I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that we deserve our children and you deserve it. This is really going to be a golden age for us. This is an incredible victory for the American people that will allow us to make America great again,” Trump said.
