“I have to say with sadness that the harsh language used by the leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party and your allies is dangerous for the future. The world is shocked that the Minister of State for Railways in the central government, a minister from BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, called the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha ‘terrorist’ number one’,” Kharge said in an apparent reference. comments by MoS Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu and UP minister Raghuraj Singh.
“An MLA from a party linked to your government in Maharashtra has announced a reward of Rs 11 lakh for the person who ‘cuts the tongue of the Leader of the Opposition and carries him away’. The BJP leader and former MLA in Delhi has threatened to make him ‘the same fate as his grandfather’,” he said. Kharge.
Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad announced that he would offer Rs 11 lakh to anyone who cut off Gandhi’s tongue for his remarks about abolishing the reservation system. Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu on Sunday said that the “bombshells” supported Gandhi, who was the “number one terrorist”. In a letter to Modi in Hindi, Kharge said Indian culture is known worldwide for its non-violence, harmony and love.
“Our hero established this as a standard in politics. Gandhi ji had made this standard an important part of politics during the British rule. After independence, there was a long history of disagreement between the ruling party and the opposition in the parliamentary arena. This has worked to increase his prestige Indian democracy,” Kharge said.
He said that many Congress workers and leaders are very concerned and worried about the matter.
“Due to the power of hatred, the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi had to sacrifice their lives. The political behavior of this ruling party is a brutal example in the history of democracy,” said Kharge.
“I request and expect you to impose discipline and courtesy on your leaders. Advise them to act properly. Strict legal action should be taken against these statements so that Indian politics can be prevented from degenerating. Let nothing untoward happen,” the chairman said. Congress.
“I trust that you will take necessary action to stop these leaders from making harsh statements,” Kharge added.
