Shannen Doherty, identified for her role in the wild style series “Beverly Hills, 90210” and in the magical fantasy “Charmed,” has died after being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She was 53 years old.
“With a heavy coronary heart, I confirm the death of the actress Shannen Doherty. On Saturday, July 13, she lost her battle with cancer after several years of fighting the disease,” said Doherty’s publicist Leslie Sloane in an announcement to Individual.
Doherty rose to fame in 1990 as the fresh-faced brunette Brenda Walsh on Fox’s “Beverly Hills, 90210.” Along with twin brother Brandon, played by Jason Priestly, the Walshes have become a basic fish-out-of-water household who recently moved from Minnesota to Beverly Hills and are always amazed at the antics of LA. rich child.
