Freedom looks good on Christine. Meri, yes, he is still working on it.
As the new season of Sister Wife continue, the show is finally starting to look like it used to.
This means that the family is no longer in its own corner. In fact, for the first time in their entire lives, almost every member of the family was in the same room.
Kody, Robyn, Meri, Christine â and oh yeah, Christineâs husband!
Of course, when tonightâs episode was filmed, David Wooley was still Christineâs boyfriend. However, Kody meets Christineâs new man at an event, like Christine and Meriâs reunion.
Letâs say it was all awkward â it was before Christine debuted her massive new tattoo on the chest!
Janelle And Meri Face Off About Coyote Pass
The episode begins with Janelle returning to Flagstaff to see Meri. The latter is in the process of moving to a B&B and vacating his home in Coyote Pass.
This is apparently news for Janelle, who, as it happens, is eager to talk about how to get her shares in the property back from the ex together.
Envy is cold with Janelle, even though she insists that sheâs not âall hatersâ.
âWeâve never been very close,â he admitted, calling the sit-down ânot a social visit.â Janelle agrees, admitting that sheâs never had a âone-on-one relationshipâ. But Janelle feels Meri deserves to know what happened. So, they started the drama around Coyote Pass.
At first, Meri was shocked to hear Janelleâs story, and actually defended Kody. But as Janelle shares more stories, they begin to agree that they need to sit down with their ex and sort out their finances.
Going back to her confessional, Meri insists she wonât be joining: not Kody and Robyn and not the âex-wives clubâ.
House hunting with Christine and David
Elsewhere, Christine and David start looking at houses together. Well, itâs been less than two months and theyâve been ring shopping and house hunting together.
And if you can believe it, heâs still going for something more serious!
The couple was looking for a very specific place. They want a big kitchen with two ovens, they want a 3 car garage. They seem very much in step with each other, especially in the point that when they want a big house, they donât want something so big that ALL the children will live with them .
Speaking of kids, while Janelle is back in North Carolina with Maddie, who is about to give birth, her children Gabe and Savannah will meet David at an important family event: Gwendolyn and Beaâs bridal shower.
And thatâs where the fireworks took off!
Christine and Meri Hug It Out
The whole family is invited to Gwendolynâs party, including Meri, Kody and Robyn. Even though Meri came with the other two, she made it a point to separate herself from them.
He did this by beelining for Christine and David. Itâs been over a year since they last met, and itâs definitely the first time theyâve seen each other since Meri and Kody split.
Shocked, the women hugged each other and whispered âI love you,â in his ear. Itâs actually quite a tender moment. The couple seemed so comfortable that Meri even made a joke about the catfish scandal.
But again in the confessional, Meri admits that she is still not âopen with Christine.â He is also not ok with being divorced as Christine clearly.
Christine Gets Tatted
Finally, the big moment arrives: Christine introduces David to Kody and Robyn. It was incredibly awkward and the conversation became very long, with silence pointing and awkward laughter dominating.
But as Aspyn points out, when Christine and David get married, this new man will be another father figure now in the life of True from Kodyâs father. Fathers of girls have the right to meet new people in their whole lives.
In his confessional, Kody revealed that Robyn was worried that David was becoming a âhunchbackâ and that there was jealousy.
But everything, the couple managed to master, and Christine celebrated the moment by getting a big tattoo on her right breast. He flashed the camera, the celtic symbol for ânew beginningâ on his chest. David finds one that fits and thatâs just another step towards romance becoming a reality.
