Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia happy he talked about his relationship with Zach Bryan.
“I know I made the right decision,” LaPaglia, 25, shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday, November 7, after detailing allegations of emotional abuse during her year-long romance with Bryan on the latest episode of Barstool Sports’ “BFFs” podcast.
“And I believe not going all out and not telling all was the right decision,” LaPaglia continued to message fans. “You get the picture. Your message has brought me to tears. I can’t believe so many women and men are going through the same abuse.
LaPaglia continued, “You have me, I’m going to be a voice for all of you. If I can fight the people in power, you can fight the bums from your hometown. This is all two weeks out so I’m still processing everything I’ve been through. I’ll continue to process and heal with you all!”
“Morality > 12 million,” the podcaster concluded her post, referring to the nondisclosure agreement Bryan allegedly asked her to sign.
On Thursday’s “BFFs” podcast, LaPaglia opened up to his cohosts Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards about her surprise split from Bryan last month. The online personality accused the country singer of being emotionally abusive towards her during their relationship.
“It’s not just for me, it’s for other people who have been emotionally abused, it’s for anyone who has been emotionally abused,” LaPaglia said in the episode. “This is for people who don’t have a support system like I was lucky enough to have (when) going through this.”
“The last year of my life was the hardest year of my life, dealing with abuse from this man,” she added. “I’m still scared of him, my brain has been rewired. I’m scared of making him angry. Last week I didn’t want to talk because I was scared.”
LaPaglia also said he refused to sign an NDA that Bryan, 28, claims he offered in exchange for money.
“I still say f— your money. You make women before me believe that they have no other choice, “he said. “And to take money from you, enter their experience, enter what they have been through, You have to run and sing a little song on stage like you are a good man.” (Us Weekly contacted Bryan’s representatives for comment on LaPaglia’s lawsuit Thursday.)
Bryan announced his split from LaPaglia via an Instagram Story statement on October 22. At the time, LaPaglia said he was “blindsided” by the split.
“Resolved: Brianna and I have broken up with each other (sic) and I respect and love you with every ounce of my heart,” Bryan wrote. “He has loved me unconditionally for a long time and I am always grateful.”
He continued: “I’ve had a very difficult year and struggled for some serious things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go out in different ways. I’m not perfect and I won’t be perfect.”
