The Attorneys General of Virginia and Missouri, along with the Wyoming Secretary of State, have announced simultaneous investigations into ActBlue regarding alleged money laundering schemes.
Investigative journalist James O’Keefe III broke the first major investigation in March 2023 since launching O’Keefe Media Group.
The legendary journalist published a video from his investigation into the VAST Democratic donation harvesting network.
These investigations include:
- Millions of dollars in donations
- HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS STILL ILLEGAL
- BREAKING COUNTRY COUNTRY!

Gateway Pundit has previously reported on the far-left donation-harvesting network that James discusses in the video.
The information was first released by Chris Gleason as it was first published in The Gateway Pundit in December 2022. Chris Gleason discovered a large amount of “Financial Mules Campaign” that generates hundreds, even thousands of donations every year.
These “Money Mules” are not rich people. They are average Americans, living in average houses in average neighborhoods. Or at least that’s how it is.
Another big pattern we found was that the most active donors were all unemployed. It appears that his full-time job is to donate to Democratic candidates and campaigns.
Gleason asked “active” donors what they would think if they told them they had identified voters who made thousands of campaign contributions in an election year. They all responded. “Whoever made the donation is a money launderer and part of a criminal enterprise.”
In May 2023, The Gateway Pundit teamed up with social media personality and producer Tim Cramer to investigate a donation harvester in Indiana.
Tim Cramer is the owner and creative director of Mosaic, a national advertising and marketing agency that works exclusively with conservative businesses, candidates, campaigns, and political special interest groups. Cramer’s team and TGP contributor Adam Sharp recently investigated a donation harvester in Indiana.
Many people are registered as Democrats – Blue Act donors refuse to make hundreds and thousands of donations registered in their names! These Democratic donors told Tim and Adam that they did NOT make these tens of thousands of dollars in political contributions!
We have covered a MAJOR SCAM!

Gateway Pundit also released video footage of our investigation into the donation mule, this time in Missouri.
This time Adam went to some houses in the area of St. Louis, Missouri suspected of being a harvester of Democratic donations. What he found was similar to what he found in other countries.
These homes are listed as giving hundreds or thousands of donations to Democratic candidates, denying the amount of donations or denying that the person lives at that address!

investigative researcher Parker Thayer, who works with the Capital Research Center, has discovered a pattern of suspicious donations involving tens of thousands of contributions allegedly sent by the same individual in Michigan.
Thayer shared a picture showing the activities of one donor from the small town of Monroe. According to Thayer, this donor has reportedly made more than 20,000 donations since 2019, totaling more than $40,000. “They live in a 1,000 sqft house built in 1956,” Thayer noted.
I have censored the name to prevent doxing, but @actblue donors across Michigan show a suspicious pattern:

Another donor in Brighton, Michigan has reportedly made more than 2,500 donations since October 2023. Thayer pointed out that this individual’s listed address is a retirement home, raising concerns about potential exploitation. “Is @actblue deceiving pensioners by convincing them to repeatedly sign up for donations?” Thayer asked.

Further investigation revealed a third donor in Milan, Michigan, who allegedly donated more than 9,000 times since 2019. According to Thayer, 5,526 of those donations occurred after January 1, 2023, meaning this person would have donated approximately ten times a day for 575 days. .

Now, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, and Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray are conducting their own investigation.
Attorney General Jason Miyares has launched an investigation into ActBlue, ActBlue Civics, Inc., and ActBlue Charities, Inc. (collectively “ActBlue”) following several serious allegations of fraudulent, deceptive, and illegal activity in Virginia.
The allegations include hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from individual donors in Virginia, with volumes that seem unbelievable and suspicious. Several Virginia donors have reportedly made multiple daily donations over the years, totaling tens of thousands of dollars.
In particular, many of these donors are senior citizens who list their occupation as “unemployed” or “retired,” and have suspicious addresses. These conditions indicate the possibility of donations being made from fictitious donors, fake accounts, or without the informed consent or knowledge of the donor.
“Citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia deserve to know that non-profit and political entities are funded in a legal manner and that entities operating in Virginia are legally and legally raising funds,” Miyares said.
To address these concerns, Miyares requested a detailed description of ActBlue’s processes and procedures for verifying the legitimacy and accuracy of donor and contribution information, as well as the process used to report information to regulatory agencies. Given the seriousness of the allegations, they expect a substantive response by August 12, 2024.

In a related development, Attorney General Bailey also expressed his office’s commitment to investigating the matter. “My team is looking into disturbing allegations about ActBlue. More to come,” Bailey wrote.

Secretary of State Chuck Gray has disclosed the investigation to ActBlue Wyoming, a political action committee registered with the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office. ActBlue faces charges of stealing the identities of individuals to hide illegal donations, including contributions from foreign actors.
ActBlue Wyoming is required to file a statement of contributions and expenditures with the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office under penalty of perjury. Filing a false statement is a violation of the Wyoming Election Code. Secretary Gray has the legal authority to refer suspected violations of the Election Code to the appropriate prosecuting authority.
“The widespread allegations against ActBlue are deeply troubling, and we must ensure that political action committees follow the Wyoming Election Code,” Secretary Gray said in a statement. “Claiming that someone contributed to a PAC when that person never contributed to that PAC would be a crime under Wyoming law. I am deeply concerned and remain committed to evaluating contributions to ensure compliance with Wyoming law.
